Gum kills the birds

I think most of people have chewed the gums, so i want to know how do you deal with it at last?
People throw gum on the ground, in the birds eyes, it looks like pieces of bread when they eat the gum, it gets stuck in their throats. So they are unable to drink and eat and they will be dying slowly. So here, please share it if you care. thank you.

I never realized that birds could really try to eat the gum that they would see. But I do put my chewed gum inside its wrapper and throw it in the garbage bin if there is one accessible. Otherwise, wait till I get home to get rid of it.

Wow I did not know that. I don't chew gum anymore, but I have a daughter who chews it like crazy and I am always getting on her aboutl eaving it everywhere. She loves animals so I will be sure to share this with her and anyone else I can.

I never have thought that chewing gum that was thrown on the ground
can endanger the birds life. Thanks for sharing this here, it will
give us some awareness on this. I normally keep the chewing gum wrapper
with me. So, when I finish I will wrap it with the wrapper and throw it
in the dustbin. In Singapore, chewing gum is banned because it is such a
nuisance in the LRT/MRT/bullet train/tube. It will jammed up the train
doors (it seems that is what people said).

I agree so much with you. I think everyone must be aware of this, not only because of the birds but also to maintain the cleanliness of our surroundings. Discipline is the key.
