We all know the statistics of families growing apart, do you think that media has anything to do with that? Life as we know it has involved cell phones, television, internet (in which most of the stores also rely on), and mp3 mp4 players etc. Do you think that has anything to do with families growing apart? We have more time to play on the internet, to work on the internet, to chill with friends via video conference, etc. Yet our social skills are depriving every day.
So how do we manage this? Do we continue on the bath that we are on? Do we continue to lack in our social skills or what can we do to fix this? I used to have a tech off night. A tech off night is when i turned all of the electronics off 2 nights a week. At first we were so bored we had nothing to do. After about the second week it was going great. We were playing games and felt very close as a family. It was wonderful.
Should families do this as a new trend, would your family be interested in this? Life is so exciting sometimes, but families grow apart every day more and more, we need to find ways to come closer together. Is no tech night a good idea? Do you think that it is cathchy?
