How to find a long lost friend?

I am sick already of thinking what are the ways I can do to find my two long lost friends. I miss then so much. They even do not know each other. One is a guy and the other is girl. They are both living in the city. I grew in the province and I took my first year college in the city so I met this girl friend of mine. We became good close friends as we were classmates. This guy also although I met him once only because he was the past boyfriend of my cousin and we were introduced. We became also good friends because of constant exchanging text messages and phone calls.
I continued my college years in the province due to some personal reason but I said to myself that I will go back to city to seek for a job. I lost my contacts with both of them when I was already studying in the province. Now, that I am already here, I just miss them and I do search them in Facebook hoping that I could find them there but I failed. I do not know what other ways will I find them.
You guys? Are you been like this of me?

Well, Facebook is the only way to find your long lost friends, but as you have'Been there done that' and not found them, its really difficult. I had found my school friends , whom i used to consider my best, thru facebook only. I was so happy.
But you dont give up... You can get some info about them thru their neighbours, or the university in which they studied... You will get some clue..
And the World is Round. One day or the other, they will meet you im sure...!

WEll, you were no friends for a very long time. Sounds to me like you can compare it with people you meet during a holiday. It's nice for the time being and after that each goes his/her own way again. But after such a short time, how can you miss them so much, I wonder? I really don't think you can call them your best friends. What efforts did they make to keep in contact with you?????

Have you heard of "Six Degree of Separation"? According to my son,
we were only separated by six person away. Therefore, there will be
a very good chance that someone you know may know someone who know
them. Perhaps you may search via Facebook by asking other member
of Facebook that might know them. Search via the alumni of their college
or last places that have study of work that you heard of. All the best

I guess another option that you can do is to search for common friends that you have with them. Or names of their close relatives/cousins or sisters/brothers that you know the names of. Sometimes that's what I do to find someone in Facebook. Some of them uses a different name so it is really hard to search them. You're lucky if you use their real photo as their profile picture.

No. Although I miss some of my friends in college, but I realized that finding them makes me feel sick and tired. You can do some fun stuffs to reminisce them like making a collage of them, using their photos, or like this, write a poem, describing them, or listening to your favorite songs or think of things that will remind you of them :)

I think that the best thing that you can do is to look for common friends that you have then by there you might be able to trace their whereabouts.

Friends are no friends if you never speak to them anymore. So there is a good reason why you lost contact. Also... you might miss them but it's not said they miss you also. Since there is internet and there are so many social sites it can't be that difficult to find them. I assume you can also ask for their address if you went to the city hall like we can do over here. I would not go look for old "friends". I live my life and if we loose contact there is a good reason for that. I don't want to live in the past but now, in the present.

A strong suggestion for you ,you may ask police to help you find them out ,because every citizen ID documents are kept in the police computer well, of course if you really take it seriously. in other sense, i think its the kama for what persons or freinds you meet in the real ,just wait for that right time and right place to meet together,no worries .
