Nigella book?

My mom is a big cookbook fan. She likes cookbooks even though she can cook but doesn’t have the time for it. I am considering giving her a cookbook about Nigella Lawson because I think she is awesome when it comes to her recipes. But I’m kinda torn because I don’t know if my mom likes a cookbook by a trained chef. Lawson is a ‘doemstic goddess’ or a cook that learned though experience (for the lack of a better definition. But Nigella’s style might be better. So, which is the better cookbook – by a domestic goddess or a chef with the whites?

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is great to hear that your mother is a big cookbook fan and i know due to some work she is not able to cook and i think she will be absolutely taken aback if u gift her a cookbook. In my opinion, no cookbook is small or big, what is important is the good recipes present in it. If Nigella is a good cook and if her recipes are easy and delicious to cook then there is no issue in giving that book to your mother. What say?
