How to keep durable to friend in the relationship for long time

In the relation with friend, sometimes we make a mistake maybe maybe intentionally or unintentionally. This matter perhaps can be happened between two friends or more. One mistake maybe can cause be apart with friend if they can't forgive. How do you think about that?

As they say "Friends come and go" what ever you have done into them. I have a friend since high school who is always there when I need him. Although sometimes I was hurt with how he delivers his thought with me but I just take it positively for I know he's not fake friend. Maybe he cannot realize what he is saying with me but I know he is my friend and he just want to tell the truth with me even if it is hurting. That's a true friend anyway

A true friend always forgive and understand one another.
There is no perfect relationship, whether in love or in friendship.
If one commit a mistake- one must understand and forgive the other as long as it is a reasonable one.
If there is no understanding - then, no relationship will last forever.

Like any other relationship, friendship must be nurtured. It is inevitable to have misunderstandings, but still we should have the heart to be more loving and caring towards each other no matter what happens.
A deep friendship can never be ruined for as long as they know how to give respect towards each other.
