What will you decide between buy a gamers laptop or stylish only? On my environment, there are many friends who don't know about their laptop functions. Moreover, they can use only without knowing how to take care it. So, it will be a benefit for technicians to get revenue.
I won't blame them. I just wanna know about their opinion about buying laptops. So, what's yours?

Like many things, I think whenever I buy a laptop, first I'll look at the price and brand. When I found one with a decent price, I start looking at the stats. So if I found a few with almost identically stats I will take the one with the lower price ofcourse. But honestly, I don't think I want a gamers laptop at all, I'd prefer a gaming computer.

If you prefer a gaming computer, you should build one yourself because it's cheap and you can replace parts whenever you want. And you don't really have to worry about warranty, because the computer components you buy usually have like 3 years warranty or longer.
For example: you can spend 900 euros on a gaming computer, then you have to choose a good motherboard first.
It depends on which brand you like more Intel or AMD.
I prefer Intel because my user experience with AMD was terrible.
Then you have to look at the slots which the motherboard has.
If you play very graphical intense games you can have 2 graphic cards attached to your motherboard and a great processor.
And you also have to look if you want a big or a small motherboard, because it could affect the amount of space the graphic cards will take.
When you've found a motherboard you should look at a processor which fits in your motherboard by looking at the socket of your mobo.
The next step is to look for some RAM memory.
For a gaming computer at least 8GB is recommended.
I recommend you to choose 2x4GB RAM sticks in case one stops working, you will still have 4GB left.
After that you have to choose a graphics card Nvidia or AMD.
My recommendations is that you take a Intel processor and a Nvidia graphics card.
If you play very graphics intensive games such as Battlefield 3 or Crysis 3 then you should consider to buy the GTX 670.
But if you only play games like Diablo 3, StarCraft 2 or Dota 2 then you should buy a GTX 660 which is about 150$ cheaper.
Now that you've got all that you have to get a power supply.
To know how much Watt you need you just have to look at the amount your graphics card takes.
For example when it needs 450Watt you should take 500Watt just to be sure, because your mobo and processor needs electricity too.
Next you should choose what you want a HDD or a SSD.
The HDD is cheap and is capable to store a lot but it's much slower than a SSD which is much faster, more expensive and doesn't have high sotrage capacities.
My preference is to buy a single SSD, because it works great, is fast and makes no noise.
The last thing you need is a case.
To know which case you should buy you must look at the size of your mobo and see if it fits in the case.
I made a list of components for a gaming computer in case you're interested.
Case: Cooler Master Elite 431
Mobo: MSi Z77A-G43 s1155
Processor: i5-3570k
Graphics card: GTX 660 TF OC 2GB VRAM
RAM: 2x 4GB Corsair Vengance DDR3 1600MHz
P Supply: OCZ 600W Pro
SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 128GB
Total price = about 800 dollars
