After weeks of not posting any here, I am finally back. I have been emotionally down because of some family related problems. I have no inspiration to write or to share anything. I just noticed that all my blog posts are sad as well. I know everyone of us undergoes such phase when you don't want to connect with anyone except yourself. I am getting out of my own shell after hibernating for some times. I know I must face the reality, this is life. I know nothing will happen if I just give up. I am praying that I will pass this phase and be happy as always, especially that Christmas is coming. I want peace with everyone. I hope I am still welcome

No one is immune to pain, as they say. There is no one who is invincible either. Every one of us undergoes that stage without exception not to mention yours truly. But my only refuge is GOD. Every time I feel down and depressed I just pray to HIM and ask for HIS divine guidance and it feels a lot lighter afterwards.

That's what I do too. GOD is our creator, it is just natural to ask HIM for his help.

I hope everything turns right side up for you. I know how family issues can really burden the heart. In my eyes, any writing is good writing. Some of the best poems or short stories come from authors who have had emotional trouble.
While I hope everything turns around for you just use any experience you have to express your honest feelings on paper.

Hi Michie198! I agree with you when it comes with family matters, I always feel really weak. I can handle everything well except family issues. I am praying that it shall pass. When I am emotional down, I can't find any inspiration to write. Thank you for the words.

Good idea michie198. It would be a great relief if we could pour our emotions out on paper. Not only can it free us from our sadness, other people may also benefit from reading it.

quite a lot of us come and go from this site, I for one have countless times of having a disappearing act from mylot and then resurfacing when i have the need to earn those additional dollars. =) i really intend to save whatever i earn from mylot this coming year and would really refrain from using them as much as posssible. i really do need to save, and since i do have time right now to spend time in mylot, might as well use them wisely and earn from here while i have the chance.

Hello,
Like you said, everyone will undergo the period of sadness or depression. Everyone will overcome it ,it just needs time . If you are trying , maybe the time will be shorter.
I hear someone once said,"every day you have two choices . You can choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood.' I choose to be in a good mood."
So when something bad happens, we can choose to be a victim or we can choose to learn from it. I hope you can make your good choice and feel better soon.

Hello there. I agree with your. We have a choice to choose to be happy or not. It is just that, there will be a time when you can't be that happy even with all the inspiration. Everyone will go through that phase I think. What is important is that the lessons we learn from it. Thank you for those words. You just don't know how those make me feel better. Have a blessed holiday.

I have been in a similar situation for almost three weeks the past month and don't feel zest in doing online activities due to personal concerns. This is life and intermissions had to happen to make it more colorful and show us how to appreciate it more once the lull is over. God bless and Merry Christmas.

There is always ups and down in our life and not only these we have to face good as well as bad days in our life. As there is always Sunrise and Sunset on this earth same way we also move through such phases.
If we sit with all the problems that comes up in our life then we will be under burden, so we must try to solve them. Never run away from problem rather fight with them so that you remain tension free

You are right sriroshan, running a way from a problem will only make it worse, and that's not a good option. Face and fix your problem, that's the way to go.

That is very true. We may be in a bad condition at present. Accept it, then move on fully realizing that our future ahead is full of great opportunities.

Of course you are always welcome here, shylade. This place is good for people who would like an outlet for their problems and experiences.
Here we also share how we can cope up with some problems, that others have undergone already.

Hi kindred spirit! Like you, I just came back from a long mylot hiatus though mine was infinitely longer than yours. I've been a member here, i think, three of four years ago but only revisited this site this week.
Anyway, I could relate to you feeling sad at times. Surely all of us are prone to feeling sad at times, especially when it is warranted like an occurrence of a problem. We're not saints and certainly not gods, so emotional outbursts is normal. I do hope though that you get to overcome whatever issue or concern that you're facing right now. Good luck, have fun learning and have a good day!
