Let me tell you about my great lecturer. He is Sir Obat Mikael Depari. He likes translation. He devotes his life in Linguistics. He married to one of high school's teacher in the same city. He has three children, now. Before he decides to become a lecturer, he was a sailor. His experiences which are hard make him live carefully.

Hello Ms Aziza, I hope I am right of calling you by that name. I know someone with the name Aziza. It is good to know about your lecturer's story. His experience is a good example for many people.Life is full of surprises as your lecturer's life. Here in Doha a lot of part time taxi drivers are working in reputable offices.Life tends to be immeasurable. One can be anyone as long as he/she will be dedicated to be as such.

welcome to mylot, ms..I hope you can be active here and earn well. at the beginning, don't expect too much, just being active and time will give you proof that spending time here is worth.. nice story about your lecturer. I ever heard his name from ms Novi. and if I'm not mistaken, his son had ever taken English course in our institution. I don't know him well but still it makes me surprised when you say that he was a sailor. I never known before a lecturer not come from educational realm..

How much money did your lecturer make doing translation? Since you posted this discussion in the "Make Extra Money" interest gene, I was thinking that you may offer a tip or two about making some dimes out of something that your lecturer did. I am interested in translation too. But it is not that easy to find any translation tasks that pay well.
