Hi,mylotters, how was your day. I came back to share some tips from my real work. Do you have an aim or plan in your life or work? I think you will have, so today I would like to talk about that. Recently, I found that most of my students always failed to keep their promises. For example, one student told me he would do better in presentation. But he perform even worse in the second time. Why was this do? Finally, I got the answer. They have no direct and concrete aim and plan. What is a direct and concrete aim or plan? Maybe his aim can be doing better in the next time. But often this kind of aim could not work at all. So, you must make an aim or plan like that : I will finish one drawings per day; I will remember 10 new words per day and so on. What's your idea about that?

I guess it's very important for us to set our goals and we should give our best to achieve them. If we don't have any concrete decisions or plans in how to achieve these goals, we won't be successful. We'll always fail. What's my goal today? I guess to comment back to all my responders here in myLot. I guess I am doing great. Everytime I receive a notification, I get to the topic and post my comment. That's my goal.

yes, that's correct..First, establish the desired outcome. Then, what are the hindrances that may be encountered along the way. What are the things to do when these hindrances will not be accomplished? then, what are the steps to take to go to the desired outcome? Then always have backup plan or Plan B in case the first one will not work because of too many reasons. Don't set goal too high and unattainable. Be realistic. Be practical.

I think that's one of the basics of goal setting. In business, the rule of thumb is to make your goal S.M.A.R.T. - Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely. And this rule can be applied also to even our personal goals. Breaking down a goal into smaller, achievable parts would really help us in attaining it.

i believe i would be helping china directly or indirectly if india keep controling my mind or decept/incept or decieve in any way. India is doing a bad job in incepting whoric dreams with some real whor'es. India should learn honesty, and it's i find most necessary for it.

I think that your student was not able to perform better as what he promised because he lacks preparation or just simply did not know what to do or how to make his presentation more outstanding. He must have not pushed himself too hard and just finally relied on having what he has. A concrete plan is something that you should be able to write down a step by step instruction to motivate you to achieve a higher goal than the last time.

I will strive to improve myself which will ultimately improve my life. To work hard to take care of my family responsibilities and be a better mother. To keep up with the household chores. As well as getting ready to work outside the home more by going to college hopefully in a few months. It will also be a good thing for me to not focus so much on what others are doing or not doing but to do what I know is right. That is easier said than done though.

Thanks for the tips, and yes. Putting a direct plan to any projects that you are encountering regardless if its school, work etc. can make you successful on to any endeavor you are experiencing. You should set goals and aim for the best possibilities. By setting such plans, you can now put yourself with a clear mind set and to determine exactly your goals. This will help you think more of becoming an achiever rather than being least of the group. It will also help you put direction for your everyday workloads. Lastly, it will motivate you to be and do what you want to be and do

this plans are not made overnight as if rome was made in one night. this plans just come out of the blue and we only need to understand them to have a better life

I agree. But, sometime, we need to make a plan from abstract and when we found a trouble to realize it, we just need to open heart, mind. In my experience, there will be direct or indirect guide like a vision. As an image, i have planned about starting home business. But, i don't know how and what. On waiting time, i'd been given vision to start online business. It's not finish yet. I still don't know what kind and how i do. The vision was back and "told" me to open some pages, increasing my knowledge. Finally, i can decide what i need to start the kind of business which was visioned. That's my true story about online business. Starting to writing, selling some electronics, and services on laptop software. Further more, i'd been given more vision to learn more skills in programming language, digging my ability, etc. All of the visions were not from my mind. I can't plan it. I just making my abstract plan, then open mind, heart to accepting any vision about realizing that.
