Credit Card not approved by Macy&Paypal. How can I achieve a good credit history

I am new in Guam, 2 months working and working part-time for 5 hours/day. my annual income is $9000. Gosh is that the reason that I was not approved? What are your tips so I could be approved to have a credit card?

I don't think it's your income. The first credit card is always hardest to get because you are still new and have no record of borrowing money from any bank. Maybe you can try a credit card that requires a deposit or an annual fee. Those are usually easier to get and having one of those for awhile would help you get a credit card without any fees.

Check for their requirements in order to achieve credit card especially if you are just an immigrant. Requirements is really a must. Visit Macy and asked their requirements.
