It's when your talking to someone, asking them and they're like saying,
"Honestly?"
and I'm like,
"No! Lyingly! Tell me some lies please! .. Of course tell me the truth! Nonsense if I ask you then I'm wanting you to tell me lies."
Of course you won't say that. You'll just come up with your answer,
"Yeah!"
with a smiley face! Haha!

I never really thought about it but your right that's kind of a silly thing to say, lol. So many people say that though.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i think that is human tendency to say such words. Of course no person on earth would like to say that he or she was lying about a particular manner. Such words or phrases comes out impulsively and we can hardly say "No! I am lying" as saying "Honestly" comes out impulsively and we do not have control over some words.
Even i have this habit of saying this word while conversing with others and i have never tried to ponder over speaking this phrase. He he he.
What say?

oh! haha! I am nothing against the word "Honestly?" when it's being said. I just thought of it and I laugh when I thought that what if someone answer back, "Tell me lies, tell me lies please!" as a reply when someone told them the word "Honestly?"
haha!
