But I found it very average. Tonight I went to my friend's place andwe watched Ted,.we had both heard good comments and it was always at the top list on IMDB but we were really dissapointed. It's about a little boy and its teddy bear named Ted that becomes alive and they live together until the boy becomes a man and the story is evolved when the guy is 35 and he still lives wih Ted. The plot is very unique but the film was not funny for my taste. There were many akward moments and I have to admit that I took a break during the movie aan then I watched it again towards the end.
Have you watched this film? It is supposed to be a comedy but we didn't laugh much. The trailer looked funny too, but I found it overated!

Quite the opposites with my our opinion. Personally I think this movie the most funniest I ever saw this year.
I like their idea of using a talking teddy bear especially when the teddy bear act like a relentless irresponsible grown-up. The movie probably wouldn't that funny if they use a real human instead. The fact that Joel McHale appears in this movie; he plays Rex, Lori's boss that trying to pick on her, earn another point from me. He was my favorite comedian from my beloved comedy show, The Community.
But I agree with you about the joke. Most of them aren't for every people, especially kids.

wow.. I like the plot of the story, about a little boy and his teddy bear which becomes alive. Well, some sort of fantasy/fiction movie. I already watched The Toy Story I and II nearly 12 years ago. It's the same story, about a little boy and his talking toys. :)

It's kind of different from toy story because it's not for children. It has a lot of swear words and some adult scenes, although the story might seem like a kid's movie! It's supposed to be a comedy but it's not that funny! If you watch it let me know your thoughts!

Hello besweet. I have learned a long time ago to not depend on what the movie critics say about a movie. i find that the ones they favor to not be my cup of tea. I have no intentions or desire to see this movie. From what I see of the trailers it is not something I want to see. I get so tired of all the vulgarity in so many of the movies.

It was more like an adult Finding Nemo. It was supposed to be so great because of the graphics. Ted doesn't look much like a computer composite or anything. In HD, it looks like a real teddy bear that has come to life.
But the humor is predictable. I found it quite funny, but I'm also easily amused.

I loved Nemo but I didn't become a fan of Ted! I agreee that the graphics were amazing though because it crossed my mind during the last part of the film when they were climbing up on that light pole. It really looked real and I didn't find any moment s where it might have looked like a low quality graphics creation, as it happens in other films from time to time!
