Justin Bieber: Persona Non Grata

What do we make out of kids who make it famous because of a beybe beybe on you tube, wowing screaming girls with his boyish antics, which of course, he believes, cute, but otherwise, trashy, nothing original, nothing exciting, even if he has generated awards from whatever award giving body. Sigh!
I really don't give a care over this Justin Bieber, still have to see the genuine talent, if there is one, not all the scripted press releases about the image and the music. Sat down one time listening to Letterman interview the ego filled kid, he doesn't even know the Sistine Chapel, and asked the old host, "What? Sixteen Chapel?," to which Letterman responded: Canadian Education. with a grin. And the boy appeared being cautioned not to respond dumbly, as he was showing his true self maybe.
But then he came to visit our Philippines one time, against his wishes, obviously, for barely had he sang his kiddie concert songs, he made himself ill, and puked, and left the country less than twenty four hours from the time his plane touched down. Good, I thought, that would be better for the Philippines, that he doesn't like us, and he would not come back, for gosh, we don't need trash performance here.
And now what do we know, he tweeted malicious pix about Pacquiao's devastating loss. He really hates the Filipinos, doesn't he. A case of racism, definitely.
A representative in the House of Congress just proposed that Justin Bieber be declared persona non grata. I personally think it is not necessary. He has no intention of coming to these islands again. But I am all for it. Declare the boy persona non grata, including all his trashy cutie cutie discs. The better for our youth not to have anything about this mediocre. Sigh.

I am no Justin Bieber fan myself. And reading the tweet that he made, mocking our Boxing Champ proves just how small his mind is. I do think he looks dumb. He feels he doesn't need to be smart coz he has the looks the teenage girls love. (eeww!) But I just hope that he would be careful next time he tries posting something about a certain group of people. It maybe funny for him, but it is definitely downright degrading.

Hello eileen, I really didn't like it even from the very beginning to JB's career. From being a youtube's sensation, to Usher's promotions and til now, I really hate him. Like yours, I don't find any talent from him. I remember when he had a concert here where he was "SICK" and left our country immediately. While boarding his plane an employee was trying to ask for an autograph for his daughter, but he hit the cd case and it fell on the ground, and they didn't even bother to apologized to the guy, not even one of them did. Try to search it on youtube and the title is, "Justin Beiber - How arrogant can you be?"
You know what, I thought that it will affect Justin from the reactions of the FIlipinos but I think it didn't. I tried to find his twitter account but I think fans all over the world still loves him. But I still want the Persona Non Grata to apply for JB.

I have watch the video and it said that the careless bodyguard was the one who hit the cd and fell, though he brought the CD back. i think we should just support manny, but would have been better if he keeps this to himself. JB is just a kid and will not be remembered after the next decade, am sure a new superstar will be bornunlike manny that his accomplishment will be remembered forever.

Bieber needs a lesson on manners. And oh yea, he needs education, probably in formal school, so he would know that the world does not exist admiring only him. There's this group called One Direction, and I think the direction is right. Perhaps Bieber might want to learn musicality from this group, if musicality could be learned.

Why do we still need Justin Bieber where in the first place we have great singers in our own country that are far better than him such as Lea Salonga, Charice Pempengco and lately Jessica Sanchez? More so his baby baby songs are just trash but the Gangnam Style was even more popular that people from other country treated it like national anthem whenever they are hearing that song. Therefore even Park Jae-sang or PSY is also far better than him even if he is already 34 years old who can target the mass people or all ages not just teenage girls.
I really have this feeling that Justin Bieber doesn't like Filipinos at all or he even discriminate our own nation. By the comments that he posted it reminds me of what he did here in NAIA before he left Manila after his concert. I am not surprise of him as a rude baby girl? because indeed he already project himself as a person who has no manners and right conduct at all. So what do we expect? No wonder that he is a fan of Mayweather because they are just same feathers.
I am now wondering if the organizers or production from our country who handles JB can still accommodate him. I am still sure if he will be having concert here then his fans will still watch it, though I have this second thought if someone will make protest or his audiences will be lowered down.

There was a kid almost Bieber's age, and the vocals and the musicality of this kid, called David Archuleta, was extraordinarily superb, as is the character. Davic endeared himself to the Filipinos, and he has become a regular visitor, loving our food, our people, enjoying our hospitality he believed was the trademark of our race.

The boy with the attitude problem and a spoiled brat, maybe. He's not really a good influence to the youth. I hope he would grow up from his childish attitudes the soonest considering that many of the young population admire and adore him.

I can tell how you really dislike Beiber here. I won't say I don't like him but I definitely I'm not a fan too. :)
Well if he doesn't like Manny... I don't think Manny likes him too. hahahaha. I don't listen to his songs unless it is played on the bus and radio which my neighbor is playing too loud and there's nothing I can do but listen to it.
If he doesn't like the Filipino's.. it's up to Him! It's his loss! :)

I just abhor Justin Bieber! Unfortunately, my 3-year old daughter adores his songs. The good news is she will stop liking his songs once she turns 4 or 5 because I will slowly avert her attention to other, more appropriate music. I also believe that Justin Bieber's fame will die down soon so I'm really looking forward to it.

Well, i need to say this... but JUSTIN BIEBER is PLAIN STUPID... he is arrogant... a chavanist pig... and an immature brat...
I never liked him... his songs are too shallow for my taste... and when his fans grow up... they will finally see him for what he is...
After a few years... he will be remembered as child star who never grew up... but the world will remember Pacquiao as one of the greatest fighter of this century...

Indecent pictures appeared in facebook and only here did I get a little hint why people posted such eery pictures.I just hope that Bieber could say his side. I did not know he was here.Perhaps I overlooked or he is not so popular like Elton John who just came.Never do I know Bieber has concert. He is not yet a big star if he is showing really a bad attitude.

Yes, the attitude was bad, showing something like: if one with little brain goes bratty, there is no way to go but the wrong way.

Hello Eileenleyva, I pity him for his actions, proves that he hates for some reason and this antics that he made on boxing champion manny pacman has gotten over the edge. no one's really love this person, one day that talent will be taken away from him. too bad he's become blinded by his own fame, as if he wants other people to love and care for him what ever he says. besides, even though it's his own opinion, more people are going to bash him because of this disrespect.

Bieber crossed the line, and I say this boy must be taught a lesson. He needs it, for his own good. But I don't mind if I do not hear any beybe beybe anymore. I wanted to puke to first time I watched it.

Well, Justin Bieber has never said or done anything against me, but I wouldn't be upset if our government here in the United States would declare that he was a persona non grata in our country. Why? Because I just don't understand him and I'm a huge fan of music, there isn't a genre that I'm not at least a partial fan of. I've listened to his songs before and I don't think that it is talent, I think that it is auto tune.

I don't know if Justin Bieber spend enough time at school during his teenage years. I read that he just earned his high school diploma in order to not disappoint his mother. He was discovered when he was 14 (You can read it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justin_Bieber, in case if you have not). That's why, he probably has not learned something like Sixteen Chapel. Since then, music and celebrity status has become part of his live. Like it or not, Bieber or Justin Bieber has become somewhat like a brand that has prompted music industry to embrace teenagers' potential. This includes X Factor's inclusion of contestants ages 12 to 18.
I would not really question his talent-wise, but I would prefer not to listen to his songs so many times like a constant teenage girls' screaming. He has shown some attitudes and we'll see how he will mature.

Good for him Marcos and the First lady is no longer in power otherwise he might had been given a taste of " Filipino hospitality" like what the Beatles experienced in Manila http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beatles_in_1966 Filipinos in general are very good and loyal fans but we also know how to compliment back and return a favor especially with regards to arrogance and rudeness as what JB and his escorts did when they were here

Perfect adjectives: arrogant and rude. Bieber is.
We Filipinos are so easy to please, and we love music. That Bieber could have had the greatest musical fans in the world: US. Too bad, now he could live with our ire.

He might have some talents but he is definitely an overrated artist. There are many singers who can write and sing good music but they are struggling to make a career. He must thank his ever loyal fans who always defend his childish attitude. Four years ago, it would be understandable for him to act too childishly because he was new in show business then. But now, how old is he? 18? He should have learned how to handle his career by now. He should have known the DOs and DON'Ts in stating opinions. What did he get from posting Pacquiao jokes? More haters. Congratulations to him!
And, the best thing about it, BAN JUSTIN BIEBER trended in Twitter for six hours. It only showed that whenever he's trending, half of the people who are mentioning him are haters.

Of course, he is a multi-tallented by with a lot of qualities. But due to popularity and exceeded media-publicity and many other facts, he is made to dance with others. In fact, he has to improve, learn, develop many more things for his credibility. It is for nothing, but for his own improvement. Earlier, people who become famous mainly due to their own tallents. But now-a-days, people can simply come up with the help infrastructure and facilities.
So, in short, he has to spend more time for learning and understanding for self development to become a mastro in music and associated field. He is good in drums and other instruments too. So, if he spend more time in learning, it will help to understand better in his field, which indirectly help his line of business and interest.

He is already in the professional playing field. The craft is honed in schools, and the the character is inherent in a person. Bieber needs to check on both, or there is no way for this boy but to flop. Sorry. The narcissism must be checked, too, the fame could have gone into his head.

You are absolutely right. Now, it is a situation that he can reach any top as he has established the field in such a way and with the help of technicalities, there the flot is rare in chance and there are people around him to keep him on top levels. May be the influence of racism and several other factors also. He can attain any higher levels due to his richness and when compared, the life and culture is different and he is in the mid of everything and he just started his life in the fullest and there is time ahead of him.
However, there are millions of tallents around which never cared and got ignored due to several reasons and in such a perspective, he is lucky enough and what now he is to do is specialise and become expert in what he is now because he has to survive on the same market with other people and his position can be beaten up someone else who can challenge his abilities. You might have heard of Mark Knolfer's (Dire Straits) and who can forget his songs and those songs will never die and infront of such singers, he is nothing and Mark's dedication and hardwork alongwith the inbuild geniosity made him remarkable and here Justine should think a little more for learning and it will help him to highlight his career path.

Disclaimer – not a Pacquiao fan or a Bieber fan so please, hold your horses.
This item isn’t really in my radar but I will give it a go. I wasn’t brutality affected when Manny lost or whether he won. But that matter will be taken as a personal thing for many Filipinos (including my male relatives). That is something that I can understand but will not attempt to explain. I got a little industry and went online, Here’s a piece that I found that I think should be a read for everyone. Peruse at your will. http://ph.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/sportztackle/justin-bieber-straddles-line-020243842.html
My favorite lines - Another factor that makes this so inapt is that Bieber has long been associated with Floyd Mayweather, Jr., Pacquiao's would-be dream opponent.
Bieber must learn to take responsibility for his actions and must avoid getting into situations like this in the future. Sure, it was an innocent attempt at humor. But he has to have the foresight to assess what can be damaging not only to the person he is poking fun at, but also to his image as a whole.
Come on, guys: Bieber committed a "rookie mistake".

I, for one, am quick to spot an unintentional bad joke, whisper my
If Justin Bieber really committed that act, then he’s a brat and what he did is tasteless. But until his official communications team confirms it, I’m not believing anything. It’s easy to be fooled by almost everything online (believe me, I should know) and I will take everything as a grain of salt until somebody in authority confirms it.
As for persona non grata thing, do you think he will really care? The guy has a lot of screaming teenage girls who don’t need half a brain to sell his record to (majority that is, sorry for the stereotype) . That’s his market, not boxing fans. We declared Claire Danes persona non grata but did it cause a blimp in her career? I wonder how much time that representative has time on his hands.

I saw the puke on television, and how he shoved off a fan. That sums Justin Bieber to me. Am not so forgiving when it comes to racists and condescending brats.
