Mylot has members across the world from Canada to Australia. People from different community are being part of this site. Many of this people are not using their real names because of one or another reason. Even some of us are using our real names but since we are separated by culture, language, it's is difficult to find out whether the person is male or female. I saw in many of the discussion this kind of problems will arise.

You are right very difficult and I observe most of the persons not showing the country also so difficult to find out but no problem because here we are staying only for communication no matter male or female. I call to everyone as friend.

hi kathhik I was called Mr, and guy, and fellow, and old man yuck i amn not old I am a senior citizen i will have y ou know and am 86 years young.so I put my gender down in my profile and a few others have put their gender down too. Also watch the discussions when a mom talks about mom things or even having babies you will know not to call her sir or mr or guy or dude.Ask as most people will not be offended at all

hi, yes, that is true especially in in Asia, but the name that i had putted here just was my nickname only, and my reason was not to easily find me with my ex boyfriend who also had an account here so he could never read my posts about him and our past.

Hi, well that's true we cant make out. But that's not a problem here. As we are more focused on discussions and responses not whether they are male or female. I am not really interested in knowing about their gender.
