Maybe, we ask ourselves, what is the reason why we live, or why are we here, doing these step by step things such as waking up, eating, bathing, brushing teeth, communicating, going to school, graduating, finding a career, build a family, until we die.. Well, some of us think that it's just some sort of bringing life with us and some of us don't know why we do these things, and what is the purpose of living.
According to some spiritual authorities, spiritual beings called 'gods' are the one who created life and are the one who take this back to us. They are also the one who created the universe wherein we perform our duties with this called 'life' in which they lend us. But, amidst of these reality, have we ever asked ourselves what is the reality behind living? Or why do we really live? What is the component of life and why do we really have this thing.
Deeper thing is this: spiritual authorities are right, that gods created everything that exist and they lend us life so that we can fulfill everything we want to do or we want to achieve. Gods gave us a free choice or free will to do whatever we want to do with our life. So, we are opted to use this according to our choice or according to what we want to do. We can choose to be good human being, it's up to us. Or if we choose to be an evil being, then it's up to us, and whatever the consequences of our choice, the charge is also with us, not to anything else, because we are the one who control our life. You cannot vehemently deny the fact that we manipulate everything within our body, and don't tell me that we can walk or sleep or eat with the help of other people, unless we are toddlers or infants or we are disabled people. But other than that, we are the one who do these things, and we are capable of appecting all the consequences of our actions.
But, there are those who cannot appreciate life and kill themselves. Can we ask why they do that? They are in the midst of a deep depression because of seveal problems in life, so that's why their life appreciation is covered with depression which leads to their decision to end up their life by killing themselves with all means. Now, what can we do in order to appreciate life? Well, living is the most precious part of natural phenomenon. It is the greatest gift spiritual beings have lent us, so we must appreciate it wholeheartedly. In order to appreciate it, let's look at the positive side. Life is so much simple and very beautiful only if we look at its positive side. If we got problems, just think that gods gave us these problems because they know that we can cope up with these, and see, that they have trusted us. We are being entrusted by means of giving problems. Technically speaking, all problems have solutions. No problems remain unsolved, remember that, and nobody has no problems. All of us have burdens, so we need to take it and solve it technically. Think of the background of the problem, list all its solutions, think of the consequences of the problems, think of whoever will be affected of our decisions, and once we have arranged everything in detailed solution, then it's our time to put all of these in actions, and we'll see the results. While seeing the results, we need a deep prayer and hope that they will come up into positivity, and all we can say is "thank gods"
You know, life is very simple. We must not take problems seriously. Remember what happened to Jesus Christ, one of the son of gods? He suffered from different maltreatment of other beings. If we want to symphatize with him, when gods gave us problems, accept it and think of a better way to cope up with these.

I feel the purpose of living is different for each person depending on who you are, and how you look at and perceive things in life. But when you do allow Jesus to be the center of control over it and Pray to him daily for guidance and to help you with anything that you are going thru, your purpose can be so much greater and really worth living as well.

Jesus simplified the proper focus-in-life to 'seeking first the kingdom of God.'
In short, know that God has EVERYTHING planned. He's not gonna let you in on the plan; and you don't really want Him to let you in on it, because that divides your focus concerning YOUR part of the plan!
Just do your part, and know that--though you know you may never see exactly 'how' it works out--doing your part RIGHT is crucial to the goodness of the whole Kingdom
