Did you know Sungha Jung? If you don't know him try to find him in youtube or in google. He's good, I like his compositions and I want to be as good as him. I admire him and he is my inspiration everytime I play my guitar. :) I hope I will meet him, eventhough its impossible to happen.

Yeah I know him, though not personally. He is really a genius when it comes to playing guitar. He started playing at a very young age and now he is one of the most famous and admired guitarist around the world. I just hope he could sing! Haha

The Guitar - ...is a wonderful instrument for someone new to music, and relatively easy to play. But to be as good as Sungha Jung at the tender age of 16; that's not so common.
Thanks to your post, I'm listening to him now; wow. He has such a feel for the music it's incredible, you know I'd say he's close to a a musical genius, maybe already there. It's not just his guitar playing, which is amazing for a sixteen year old (for any age!), but his musicality. When he plays a piece of music, he's not just strumming the main melody through chords, he's reproducing the entire song, vocals, guitar, bass, even percussion through his playing. I was in my early to mid teens when I first started playing guitar, and was writing songs soon afterwards. But my playing was pretty poor; my songs had potential, but were poorly achieved. Later in life, I actually went back to these early compositions to improve them. But the point I'm trying to make is what a late developer I was, compared to Sungha Jung, who is so musically precocious. he has an amazing future in music I'd say. Good luck to him.

I admire this kid. No one has to sing when he plays. He's a grown up now and had established a name for himself. It's not easy to practice 3 to 5 hours a day just to perfect those songs. But I hear that someone is arranging it and they will just teach him how to play it. It looks hard because almost all of his fingers are moing when he is plucking.
