Last Sunday was one of the greatest fight in boxing history, PACMAN vs. MARQUEZ 4. Millions of Filipino people watch that to support their hero. Of course as a Filipino i really do admire PACMAN not just as a great boxer but as a great person. I watched the fight while having my lunch. Honestly, that was the first time that I felt so nervous regarding his fight against Marquez. And when Pacman was knocked down, i can feel the beat of my heart. And when Round 6 came, I was confident that Pacman will win since Marquez' nose was hit and bleeding already. I was so shocked when he was knocked out! I stopped moving. I couldn't believe it. I keep telling myself, "Manny get up, get up." I knew that he lost the fight but my point is, I want Manny to be ok physically. I want him to be alive. I know Filipinos can accept the defeat but we cannot imagine our country without Manny. He is such a great person who brought pride to our country. He's not just a great boxer but nobody left a legacy like him. He became an icon for many people, even foreigners like him. MARQUEZ is a tough fighter. He's also the pride of Mexico. And in fairness to Marquez, when he saw that Manny wasn't moving for few seconds, he got worried also according to his interview. Then, when Manny is ok already Marquez went to Manny to hug him. Filipinos love and pride for Manny will not change because he lost the fight. He's still a HALL OF FAMER and an 8-Division World Champion. He accept the defeat wholeheartedly. When he came home in Philippines there's one guy who interviewed him. The reporter ask PACMAN if he really wanted the defeat so that Mayweather will accept the offer to fight with him. Pacquiao said that he was really defeated by Marquez. He lost the fight. And he did sleep and then he laughed. The people watching also laughed. It only shows what kind of person Manny is. Such a good person with a great understanding and respect.
