How do you having classes?

Our teachers told us that in many westren countries,students often learning indepartment and have group learning.After group learning,they raise some questions to the teacher and the teacher would leading them to deal with those questions.So,is it the trueth?

Oh as I saw you are from China. In Europe and America students are working together in groups of 20-30. These groups are the classes. Teachers of different subjects visit these groups and keeps lessons. We are free to ask the teachers anytime.

miseria_meow, in case you haven't known it yet, anybody here can view somebody else' profile and in yours it is stated there that you registered under the country China, so csabaholcz presumed from this that you are Chinese.

The elite schools or the quality schools everywhere follow the information technology. You do not see students carrying loaded heavy bags to school. The children have the filing system. They have project method and assignment system. The report in the assignment that you submit is a teamwork, a report of the research done through consultation, refference and group discussion. Such a method makes the students participate actively. Here the rote memory doesn't work. But research work.

I am from Asia as well, Philippines to be specific and I think that our education system here is very much similar to western civilization because most of our culture is greatly influenced by them.
