Why do you believe?

Hi Violann, Correct me if I'm wrong, you meant to say that if our senses have limitation that doesn't mean that the truth can't be much different than what we can understand on the basis of our senses. Actually, I think I should have added a fourth category of people who strongly believe that existence of Alien is 100% possible in our universe. Hi ifa225, 100% of the violence cases in this world are happening because of a difference in thinking. In last 100 years, we've seen people like Hitler and Laden. People like these could succeed only because they had a group of people (same religion, same country etc.) behind them who agreed to their point of view and this was possible only because of the existence of religion. When we differentiate among ourselves, it causes loss to our civilization in someway or another. Suppose if someone tells you that way back in ancient age when we were living in caves, people from outer space came to this planet and genetically modified us and taught us how to live and because we could not comprehend their technology we treated them as gods and that's how we created religions as per our understanding and then country, state, caste etc. It's not aliens who disturb us, it's the old mentality that we have here on this planet which is causing all type of problems for us. The day we'll realize this truth, we'll love each other more and instead of fighting among ourselves we'll give up our mentality of differentiate among ourselves. This is how I think, I don't know if I'm right or wrong but for an instance suppose if I'm right, don't you think this topic needs more attention than just ignoring? Thanks for your response ifa225.

Hi sajujohn, Even I believe in God and I've no hesitation in saying that I just love god. It's not because it's in my religion but it's because of my personal experience in this life. I consider myself as a logical person but love doesn't understand any logic so it's matter of heart. Yes, you're right. Government is certainly aware of all the secret powerful possible things but they don't disclose it to us so that there can be peace in the society.

Just like most of us, even I've never encounter any alien species or who knows I would have encountered but someone might have done that trick that Will Smith does in Men in Black. I think most people would like for aliens to be real just as ghosts. But given the technology we have and the technology we are not privy to yet, who knows for sure. Time travel might be possible but we, the regular people do not know about it yet. Maybe some time on the future. I think this is a field of interest for many and there are many theories. But if they do exist. then the only ones who know for sure are the government.
