Cramming, more fun in the Philippines

Filipinos are well- known for having the negative trait "Mañana Habit." It is one of the many traits we, Filipinos, possess. Mañana Habit refers to leaving the things for tomorrow that can be done today. If we are about to do a task, we always think that there is a long period of time to do that we don't tend to accomplish it immediately. We like to do it in the last minute or the day before the deadline. Students are very common of having this trait. They use to cram in making their projects and reviewing for their exams. Why not do it today instead of doing it tomorrow, when you are rushing and doing things with your adrenaline. Well, I can't say that I am not doing that but everyone can change. So for the sake of myself, I will change tomorrow. No, maybe next Monday or the week after that.

I think this isn't just a Filipino trait. Even those from other countries sometime procrastinate. It's sad that even if our populace has kicked this bad habit, we as a race is still thought to possess this manana habit.

I'm guilty of having this trait as well. Because of this awful habit, I've never finished college. I think this is the reason why I'm not successful in life. I guess I need to change for the better. I think I'll start today, hopefully my life would go to a more positive direction.

Haha. You are right. I admit I've been doing that often. I leave things for tomorrow and tomorrow just before the deadline. It is really a negative trait that we should change. Even the so called "Filipino time".
