i once read a book written by Echo, who was a famous female writer many years ago. she said that:" it is a kind of art to combine onion and meat with some salt, and then comes out a dish." her opinion was so correct that i cannot agree more. i always regard cooking as a kind of art. we can relax ourselves in the process of cooking and also we can feel enriched and a kind of proudness when we finish it. i really enjoy the process of cooking.

I agree, cooking is an art. When I watching cooking show competition like Hell Kitche, Iron Chef, or Master Chef I always wondering how they know what to cook whe they only see the main ingredients few second ago? It's like painting I think. They mix all the spices and then it's like as easy as snapping your finger they turn all the ingredients into something new and delicious

It is a kind of an art!---the cook does not "produce" the food, but rather 'modifies' it (as a sculptor modifies the clay, a painter modifies the canvas). And the quality of the cook's piece is decided by the eater.

hi echo yes I agree as some people can take the simple ingredients add some touches here and there and the result is delicious while someone else just slops around not taking care to do things properly and the same ingredients taste just yucky.I think the main thing is to be passionate in cooking as in anything else where you wish to
really succeed.
