in india i can say so as the vally between rich and poor is very deep here.according to a survey a rich person has 90 lac times the wealth of a poor in india. the social structure is such that rising above is quite difficult. but all it needs to change this is positive thinking and innovation as done by many in the past and will be done by many in the future.we can quote many examples like dhirubhai ambani, laxmi mittal.they are all what they have made themselves.

yes. rich people have money to start making more money. but poor people dont. whatever money they have just go the the basic necessities that they need and they dont get to invest in anything that can bring them more money.

No I don't think so, not in my part of the world anyway, but I'll admit that there're really not any poor people in my country, so it's a bit hard for me to know really.

That's correct by my judgement. It's awful that the gap betweeen the haves and have-nots is widening. I think the poor should try to explore their potentials of breaking away from tha net.

well, i completely agree with u. the democracy in India, being in the wrong hands is being exploited in every possible way, the reforms, the laws and acts everything are supporting the rich to become richer thinking foolishly that only rich are the way to make India a huge power in the world...but as long as there is poverty in the country, every development is going to stall, as does the country's aspirations to become a developed nation. whether, its due to wrong politicians, greed of people, or just a stroke of luck, still, the implications and consequences of poverty growing will certainly be grave in the long run....
