The singles seem to worry about the coming of the Yuletide season. Well, why should one worry if you're single or not. You have your family to accompany you. It's not all about that someone who would cuddle with you in the cold winter breeze, hold your hand and hug you to be cozy. All I know is that Christmas is not about you, him or both of you. It's about sharing and loving. It's about everybody. It would be nice to feel the presence of your special someone on a very special day, but if you don't have that special someone or if he's not around, you shouldn't feel pity about yourself because then the essence of Christmas is altered. Don't be sad when you're single this coming Christmas because there's a whole lot more to enjoy.

I admit that I am one of those people who get very depressed during the holidays because I don't have anybody to share the good times with. But I figure, if I am alone is because I choose to be alone, and as you said, I have other things to be grateful for--I am grateful for my health and for having a good job. Perhaps, if everything goes right with this new guy I met, we could be together in years and spend many holidays together

Yes, what's the big deal if you're single..let's celebrate the holiday in full blast.
being single doesn't mean the holiday is not complete.
So, there's nothing to worry about it.
Our family are always there with us...

yes you are right.. to many only think xmas is for gift giving. We all fall in that trap I think. I love xmas for times with friends and family. Happy a great weekend there. See you here soon.

I agree with you. I will often hear songs stating the loneliness to be loveless(out of relationship) but this is not what is important. The true spirit of Christmas is how we live our lives as a Christian. To help out those are needy. To show love and respect with your family.
