What is wrong with the Lakers? They have Kobe, Pau and Howard yet they still lose to teams like washington and cleveland. Don't they need to trade Kobe too? hehehe

They got a victory today, but still not find a way to win consistently,Kobe seems still want to prove he is the bigest player in the team, few people know their roles in current team. And the couch has no enough authority to make everybody listem to him.So many problems exist in this team.

Well, it's a win nonetheless. They need every win they can get now. hehehe They are out of the playoff race now. Imagine, golden state has a better record than the lakers.

Are you serious? Kobe has been working so hard to keep this team together, in fact now more than ever. I don't think Kobe is the problem here.

A NBA title contender became upset from lowly teams like Cleveland Cavaliers. Its is not an excuse. I remember Gary Payton and Karl Malone with Shaquille Oneal in Lakers lineup although they did not won in championship. Its a shame for an All-star lineup becomes worst.

I doubt that the Lakers will ever trade Kobe but maybe in his later years they might. It's hard to really tell what's wrong with the Lakers, they have a pretty good roster they just haven't really played well as a team. They have four stars on there team in Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol, Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash but those four all together haven't played many games together. They also have some decent back up players in Jodie Meeks, Chris Duhon and Antwan Jamison. I'm sure that they will still make the playoffs this year but right now it is definitely looking pretty bad for the Lakers. I'm thinking they will make a good recovery though once Steve Nash and Pau Gasol are back and they are all able to play some games together.

They are definitely looking pretty bad in terms of what they are expected of. Imagine they have all those superstars but still they are out of the playoffs. They have to pick things up after the all-star break. They still have a decent backup players. Maybe they can mix the starting lineup with bench players. Making Steve Nash play off the bench that way he can preserve more energy. Chris Duhon isn't too bad as well.

Lakers made a lot of changes to the team. They are definitely out of sync. I wouldn't count them down and out yet. Once Nash is back this team just might settle down and become what every team in the league fears they could become. The question is do they have the right coach and will this group of great individual players pull together. There is still a lot of season ahead of us.

I don't know. Mike D'antoni? The right coach for the Lakers? Do you have any other ideas on who should coach this team?

Something is definitely wrong with the team. I am a Lakers fan and a Kobe fan as well. I'd like to say Kobe has been working so hard in every game so therefore I cannot blame him at all.

It is partly Howard and partly the new team settings, the lineup is perfect in my opinion, just the execution of things. Some people say bring back Phil Jackson and everything will be in order. I don't want to believe it has something to do with the coach but it does seem to be that way.

Thanks for commenting. I think Howard has been figuring out his role yet. I also observed that he is not making the right effort to win games.

Well, they are still not in the same page. Many are still hopeful for Phil Jackson to come back but I doubt it. They should move on and I'm pretty sure they are coaches who are fit to coach this team.

I think they are not maximizing the talent they have. Every possession, the ball always go to Kobe, it's just the same. Howards' stats average decreased and they are not winning games even until this writing. But still I think they can make it into the playoffs.

Well, if I am going to base it on their current performance, they will have no chance on getting past first round playoffs. But who knows, if they improve their game as a team, an upset is possible. Let's just see how the season goes. :)

How about they end up in eighth place in the playoffs and beat the top seeded team? hehehe I think they can still do it in the playoffs. Hopefully they are fully recovered from their injuries.

The Los Angeles Lakers are a joke and I am happy to see it! The Lakers have become so stuck up,selfish and greedy over the years! It is nice to see them struggle for once! They have Steve Nash,Dwight Howard,Kobe and Pau Gasol and they are laughible! I am sure they will put it all together sooner or later but until then I will LMAO!!!!!

Well, basketball match needs a well-organized team work. But now, Kobe does not trust his teammates most of the time and just hold the ball for himself. Maybe many people like Kobe for his aggressive and perfect technique. However, I think Kobe must rethink of what makes the team. As to the problem about to trade Kobe, it seems impossilbe coz Kobe has been the signal of Lakers for many years.

16 Dec 12
Well, yeah. Kobe has to think about his team play than his individual play. I think Steve Nash should take charge instead of Kobe.

If you thought the Lakers lost when this was posted, think how awful they are three years later.
