newtown elementary: not just another shooting... / myLot

I couldn't even finish reading the news, they're not my children, I don't know these people, but my heart is broken. At least 20 kids, 6 adults were shot dead in Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown. 2 died in hospital from their wounds and only 1 survived. The gunman was young and heavily armed. And this is where I stopped reading, I just can't stop imagining the terrifying death those people specially the children has gone through. It's really heartbreaking. There's just too much freedom you have there America and shooting people is becoming one of it.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well yes u are absolutely right, it was very shocking when i heard this news and i got goosebumps when i got to know that the victims were innocent children and my heart ran out to them. I do not understand why such incidents are happening in US now and then. I think people are being soft target by these gunmen and i think the US govt has to undertake strict actions from now onwards so that these incidents are not repeated in the future. What say?

There've been several shooting incidents already, this time the victims are young kids. I wonder what action the government will make because since the shootout from Batman premiere, I never read any counter measures from them.
