End of World.Is That real??

The world will not end in 2012.our planet has getting along just fine for more than 4 billion years ,and credible scientists worldwide know of no threat associated with 2012.
What do you think about this.... ??tell me your ideas my friends

The issue with Dec. 21, 2012 and the predicted disasters that some folks think will come, probably started with the so called end of the Mayan calendar. Their calendar doesn't end on Dec. 21, 2012. It's just the end of the cycle and the start of a new one. It's just like on Dec. 31st, our calendar comes to an end but a new calendar for the next year begins on Jan. 1st.
I hope that explains something about the "end" of the world.
