I know that they have remade TONS of movies before. As well, they have done so with a couple of shows, but not so much.
My question(s) to you are, if you could remake an old show with a new cast what would it be? Alternatively, you can also name some shows that you may strongly feel should never be remade.
Personally, I don't believe I have lived a long enough life yet to have an answer to my own question. I suppose it is possible, but I will stand by my answer.

I believe none of the classics should ever be made, like White Christmas with Bing Cosby and It's a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart. The reason they are classics is because they have stood the test of time and generations of families have enjoyed the same movies over and over again.
Now, what movies would I like to see remade? Grizzly Adams would be one. This show was the first show my family went to together to the actual picture show. It was awesome. I never see this show on tv or in a vhs form and I would love to see it again.

Truthfully, I do not believe I have ever seen White Christmas before. Maybe it's because I am fairly young, and am from a different generation than yourself, even though you are not that old yourself, but I think you may know what I mean. I hope your wish comes true, and they put it in TV for you :)

There is talk of a MacGuyver movie being made in the future. I have to wonder what it might be like since the director of the movie Saw has been hired to direct it. There's no word as who will star in it.

Old shows were wonderful in their time, but I am not sure we would like a remake of them now. I loved The golden years, but the show was mostly wonderful because the actresses were so good. There were other shows that were good because the actors were wonderful for their part.

Well, I personally believe that no remake can make the original movie or TV series better than the primary feature. Take, for example, the original Hawaii 5-0, and the remake. Of course it is out of the question that the original TV series are much, much better. The examples are hundreds. Although, to answer your question, there is one movie that should definitely be remade only because it can really use modern day technologies in the movie industry, and I vote for Stephen King's "IT". I can only imagine what special effects can be used to remake the book today...

Hi friend, i am not interested in this kind of remaking shows and activities. Original always have its own importance and this kind of remaking things don't make a great impact like the real ones

Thank you for your response. I do believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I may not share the same opinion that you have, but that is alright. However, I do think there are certain shows that should stay "classics" if you will, and not ever be remade that is for sure.

I would like to have a remake with the TV show titled Charmed basically it’s like Buffy the Vampire slayer a fictional drama but unlike Buffy, they don’t deal with Vampires but rather deal with Witch Craft. I kind of like to see a new era of fiction drama these days, because most dramas on primetime TV are more likely musical or sometimes, corny comedy.
