More divorce cases are being filed because of defective marriage system?

Hi Ashok, In India the divorce rate is going up. One of the reason about it that many young person are aping west without much thinking. Also with girls starting to earn and becoming independent they can no longer be supressed beyond a point and when that point reach they break free. Problem is more and more people want earning wife but are not ready to adjust to demands of her job.

Might be people did get married to early/quickly. Which is not possible in my country. What might sound silly to you can be a huge problem to someone else. And who cares of marriage system does collapse? The whole system doesn't exist that long at all. It's an invention by the governments. In the beginning it did not exist, church marriages came but church doesn't exist that long either, after that marriage by law showed up (which means only marriage by church doesn't count over here). In my country it's not important at all if you are married or not. Many couples do not get married, no matter if they have children or live together already since years. Marriage is a bond between 2 people, the law (institution, paying money etc) has nothing to do with it.

Divorce happens when love is not real. No one wishes to get married and divorced the next day, or next month or next year- not even after 10 years of marriage. Every couple wants to have a lifetime marriage before they settled for marrying each other. So, if love is not real, or marriage by force- that's where the divorce thing happens after months of living together.

You are correct even I am reading such things in the newspaper. I don't know the reason for such things and what I feel if they cannot live together for more then 3 month also then whom to blame? This shows there is no importance for what is called marriage which a bonding of two people from different families may e or may not be with same culture. But when they agree to get married with each other they knew that they are going to tie the knot with each other and are ready to spend their life with each other. Such things are very bad for the family, and for both the partner as such since people in the society will look them differently. I think this may be because of many reason they reach to the conclusion of getting departure from each other. Parent should take active part by making them understand and save their marriage life. But on the other hand we see many time couple opt to take divorce because of their parent also.

Well yes u are absolutely right, it is so disgusting to see so many divorce cases cropping up these days and it is giving a very bad impression in our society. What will our next generation learn from such things. This is a matter of concern and i have always believed that unless and until the love trust and bonding is not present in a marriage it will never last long. So couples have to be sensible and intelligent enough to handle such sensitive relationships. What say?

marriage system will not collapse, i have seen some get married after divorce and they do well the second time or third with another partner. a lot of them still believe in marriage, it's just that the first time around it didn't work well for them. so some get married again.
