So what are some good places to get a good discount on the netbooks?

I usually go to Newegg.com for computer stuff, but I bought my netbook from Amazon because they had a better price at the time.

i think there are many good online shops where you can surf for cheap netbooks. but i would recommend to buy netbooks from neighborhood shops where you can see and try hands-on the goods (netbook) of your desire. the internet provides a good information on the promos and other discount incentives for cash buyers. but i trust my own eyes and hands to touch and see the good before i buy.

I brought a netbook early last year. I found some of the best prices were on Amazon but I've also noticed them selling on eBay well below retail. Sometimes they are brand new but sometimes they are refurbished so it depends what you are looking for. You could also try looking at some of the price comparison sites. Also, in January the big computer stores usually have sales, so you might be able to pick one up much cheaper then. I find my netbook much easier to carry around the house and it's great for when I want to watch TV and work at the same time.
