The Quran (14.4) says "And We (Allah and/or the angels ) did not send any apostle but with the language of his people, so that he might explain to them clearly; then Allah makes whom He pleases err and He guides whom He pleases and He is the Mighty, the Wise."
So did Allah not send an apostle with American English? If so, who? If not, who should get to work 'Apostling'?

The verse 14:4 that you have cited speaks about sending prophet/messenger and not apostle as you mentioned. Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was the last prophet/messenger sent by Allah and now there will be no more messengers. The message that prophet Muhammad brought being the last message will be preserved to the end of times for all generations to come. There are many translations of that same message in American English and available easily. :)

The 'true sense' of "Apostle" is the word 'sent.' So anything 'sent' by Allah could be an Apostle. Who's to say that there are no more?
And how do you know that all the ones who "need" this message are the ones who "seek" this message?

The same Allah who sent Muhammad said there is no more...
33:40 Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets. And ever is Allah , of all things, Knowing.
Each and every human being need the message, whether they seek it or not.

It's a very complicated question. It is very difficult to discuss this matter in in light of Qur'an or Bible. But history says, after discovering USA by Columbus at the 12th century, European people mostly British people started traveling USA and at one stage they started living there and set up all facilities there gradually. They killed so many indigenous people, called "Red Indians". So, I think US English is the modified version of British English. Similarly, Canada and Australia got the modified English from British origin.
