i'm really a big fun of the samurai x anime show years before. my friend told me there's a live action movie of the said franchise. it's not an animation which means you'll see real people acting on the big screen. it's only shown on sm cinemas. i haven't really seen the movie yet but i have read some great reviews online. i wonder if you're familiar with the anime or movie.

Yes I have seen it and it was very enjoyable and funny too! They did change a few things in it though one disappointment to me was that there ws no sign of Aoshi. But some of hte fight scenes were funny and they made it very well. I hope they do another one

Maybe they'll make another one with Aoshi in it... And then the Kyoto episodes with Shishio and oh, my there's a lot more. I hope they do! I was wondering actually because it was Aoshi and his group whom Kanryu hired to protect him in the anime series. If I remember correctly.

Well I don't understand why Aoshi and the Oniwabanshu were not in it. They had characters kind of similar like a guy in a mask Like Han'nya yet it wasn't him and the mask was different. Kenshin2143 you will find when you watch it that they put a lot in but they made quiet a few changes too which if you've never read the manga or watched the anime is fine. But besides Apshi not being present there was one more thing that annoyed me but I don't wnat to give anything away.

I love Rurouni Kenshin!!!! (That's the live action movie of Samurai X). I've seen it twice already. If you hurry now, I think they're still shown in select SM Cinemas. I watched it first two Sundays ago, and then last Sunday, I watched again. Still packs a crowd. Since it's been a loooong time since Samurai X was shown on TV and I was not able to complete the series, I watched the series again. I really love it.

i was only able to watch it once. So sad that i wasn't able to watch it over and over on the big screen. Even though it was expensive it was worth it. I think it's even much better than The Hobbit. Haha~ But of course to each his own. That'd probably be more awesome! It's an awesome movie, i can't wait for a sequel! I wish they'd make a sequel with Tomoe in it. T

I have not seen the movie yet but I am planning to download it. Some say it is a good film, just like a live action version of the anime. I was a fan of the Samurai X anime when I was a kid. I even have the full collection of the opening and closing soundtrack.

I have always loved Samurai X (a.k.a. Rourouni Kenshin) since I was young, I guess it's because my big brother always watch it on Studio 23 back then. I've known that there's a live action movie of it for a while now, I believe that it was shown in theaters in Japan last year, and the Philippines only had it this year. I haven't seen it yet, for I would like to watch it with my best friend.

It was shown in Japan just this year, too. But it was in August (I think it premiered August 25) Been waiting for this. There was a rumor it would not be shown here in the Philippines, but I'm glad that rumor isn't true. It's a must see! And hurry because it might be until this week only.

Cool, samurai X is indeed my favorite anime aside from naruto, bleach and inuyasha. The storyline is really touching, full of intensity, thrill, comedy and even drama. That is why my username is kenshin2143 after all, because he is indeed my idol.

I have definitely heard of it. I love the anime as well. I feel bad though that it won't be shown in our city. I'll probably just wait for a DVD release to watch it. I just hope it will be soon as I am excited, so as many of my friends here.

I was thrilled that they made a live-action version of this manga/anime. This was one of the more "deeper" stories I've read/watched. The actor portraying Kenshin was superb. He was spot-on especially with his "Oro?" moments. I still want to see how they would portray Makoto Kikiyo. :D
