Which is more interesting of any linux's distro for you? I've tried Ubuntu, Suse, and Slax. But, for all of them, i'd prefer to use Slax. It's small, excellent view, and free of course.
Moreover, they still grow up and now (desember 2012), it has raised on 7th version. Many games and software(free and paid) are available. But, there're a few problem. It's about adding and modification process which still more complicated than Wi****s.
Globally, i love Slax. What about you?

ubuntu and suse are desktop and server os but slax is live medium only os. slax as been designed as portable os. even ubuntu can be used as live medium but it requires lot of space but it has higher compatiblity than slax.
i don't use slax for it's incompatiblity issues. ubuntu works just fine for me as a live medium, i can effort 4GB portable drive and ubuntu requires only 800MB. so my vote is for ubuntu.
i tried pear os which looks like mac but purely based on ubuntu and works great as desktop os. i used to use it parallel with windows but after formatting windows, i am using original ubuntu.
pear os is good but ubuntu unity is productive and faster than the pear os...
if you are looking for new os, then try out pear os, you may like it...

exciting response. So, i'd like Ubuntu, but, i'd more like Slax because its portability. Beside, i don't need to be any server. The other reason is i wanna try some programming language of linux. So, i get fast OS and learn to upgrade my ability at the same time.

i tried suse, mandriva, mint, fedora and ubuntu..so now i use ubuntu as linux os because till i started to use it i found it comfortable and even features are ok...slax gives me the impression to be a linux os for people that search a pure open source project in unix style anyway i never tried it may be a day...
