...anyone else who don't want my dog?

I went to the vet for my dog's check-up. I decided to drop to a nearby fast food chain to get some sweet snack but the guard didn't allow me inside because of the dog. Same thing happened to another fast food chain but the guard took pity on me and let me order instead of shooing me away. Does any body know other establishment who don't want a dog in their midst? I think they are quite exaggerating since my dog is small and a puppy and has a bag for his keeping. I know that he has the chance to wreck havoc but I could certainly stop him before eh does anything. Anyway, these establishments might have some rules that I didn't know about. They are not part of a mall so they could impose their own rules. If anybody could suggests some places, I owe a big thank you.

Well, it's all about hygienic measures! Dogs lose many hairs a day for instance. I praise those guards for not letting you in! Not to offend you but when you think about it, you will understand!

I am sorry but I don't seethe point of hygiene in here. I am sorry if anyone was hurt by a dog but I don't tihnk I am helpless as an owner when it comes to discipline. Even if there was a disturbance I would take that responsibility as the owner. My dog was perfectly encased in the bag and I won't let him off even it makes difficultly eating for me. So far, he's been well-mannered and I tend to see it that way, especially when he's not in my-home. I am just asking if anyone has an idea or names where I could take my dog on a weekend or share a moment in public or place aside for my home. He does need the external stimulation

Dogs are more clean than humans...just saying, is not like she was going to let the dog wonder around without keeping an eye on him.

Diiferent people, different views. But I agree with the policy of those restaurants. More clean than humans eh? So that's why my hand is thick and red and painfull after I got bitten 3 days ago. That's why I needed 2 shots to prevent me from terrible diseass.

Hon.. Sorry to hear that. I am a dog lover and I understand. I am not from the Philippines, so I can't really suggest you some places to hang out with your pooch other than the park. Ever thought about carrying your dog in your purse where nobody can see him? My ex girlfriend and I used to sneak our little Chihuahua everywhere we went to, thanks to my ex girlfriend purse.

I had him in a bag and I kind opened it so that he could breathe and see some sights. He's doesn't have many external stimulation since we live near a road and he might get accidentally killed. I am still searching for good places for him to bring so that he could spend more time out door. I mean, he's good as a house pet but even that could be boring. Doesn't your Chichuahua get angry because he was so cooped inside.

No, my Chihuahua likes to be carried around in anybodies purse. But we do let him exercise..I guess he got used to it. Don't you guys have stores like Petco? In my country we have stores, i.e Petco where you can take your cat and other dogs to hang out with other animals. Kinda like you do at the park, only better, indoors lol.

Since I don't live in your country I couldn't tell you what restaurants or stores don't allow pets. I know most food chains don't allow them but some retail stores do. I'm sorry they turned you and your dog away.

Sigh. I was really into food shops since we will be traveling and food will e a big deal. We might have the dog tag along and it might be a little annoying on our part to find a place which serves food and don't mind a mutt following along.

I am not from your country, but in my country there are many places where they allow pets, especially dogs if you are disabled/blind to go inside stores, restaurants, libraries, etc.

I guess you are living in a big place because I also have dogs and I am living in a small town. Whenever I take my dog to the vet, I can always get them home after check up because our place is just very small. So I don't have the time to go around any restaurant to eat something, I can go directly go home with the dog.

It's not about the place. what I meant is the treatment of establishment when it comes to dogs.

Hi there. I feel for you and your dog but I think it is not something to be upset of. I think there are still some establishments that accept dogs inside. I can't suggest you one because I think we are not in the same country. But I remember before that my family and I went on a bar to have a couple of drinks and my brother brought his puppy(a dashchund) with him and the dog can go inside the bar. The bar was clean and sophisticated so it's not just a cheap bar where we went to. And then, I was jst surprised because the dog can really go inside. What a nice place to stay with. I hope you can find something like that in your place. best regards to your dog.

I would like to know about this as soon as possible so that it won't be an inconvenience when we travel with the dog. it might be hard to find an establishment who will accept dogs. I don’t want to be stressed in finding a place to eat when we do travel soon.
