Fake Task Creator

Hi all :)
This is totally a new experience for me. I had completed a task of joining up a site called Talent Hunt and posted an advertisement for the service i could offer. Well, that was mentioned in the task work. So this guy who was apparently new at mylot, had created similar tasks with different sites. I guess all were his websites.
I successfully completed the task and yet the task creator did not approve it.
I guess he wanted more visitors and users to his site..

How long you wait to approve in that task? I think you should be patient. Maybe it take a time to approve it. But i dont know if some task here also have a scam task because i still not try a task.

When you say that the creator did not approve your task submission, do you mean you received a notification that it had been rejected? Or, is the task still pending and you did not receive an approval? There's a big difference between those two things. Task creators, like many of us, are not necessarily logged in to myLot every single day. There is a waiting period between the time you submit a completed task and the time that you receive notification of your approval or rejection. This waiting period varies by task creator. Some handle their business promptly, some don't. If you didn't receive a rejection, then just be patient. Your approval may still be forthcoming. Good luck

It was my first ever task at mylot and so i don't have patience. Lol

Is he really fake? Are you sure? Some tasks take a lot of time to be approved. Like the one I did last week, it took almost 2 days. And I also constantly contact the creator in his email account.

2 days is not a long time for a task approval. It can easily take up to a week (or more sometimes) to receive an approval or rejection of a task. In fact, if you read the FAQ called "Tasks as Worker" located here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq21.aspx , you will see that we are told the following:
What should I do if my task is still pending?
That depends on how long it has been pending. We recommend you wait at least a week before contacting a Task Creator about a pending task.
Task creators are not necessarily reviewing tasks every single day or logging in to myLot every single day. They may have an extensive number of tasks submissions to review. It takes a bit of patience on our part to wait for our review. To "constantly contact" a task creator by email for an approval that took "almost 2 days" is not really appropriate. That task creator wasn't doing anything wrong. Nowhere are we promised "instant" review of our submissions.
