What Would you Classified as a good laptop?

I have had to laptops in the past 4 years. Both are ruined due to viruses and suck. The first one I had was an Acer Aspire 5515 laptop with windows vista. Not sure what the specs were tho. The other on I had was an Hp with windows 7. Again not sure of specs. I was wondering what you would classified as a good laptop. If you would go with Mac or PC, the specs, and what brand of computers, as well as where you would buy it from. E.g. Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc.
