Last night I seen my grandma slept. She sleeps with his mouth open. What make me smile when her mouth open and no teeth. When she felt someone watch her she immediately awake. I should not laugh with her because i also will old like her someday.

You are so lucky that you have your grandma and she is living with you. I'm older now so I have no grandparents or parents. But I remember seeing my grandma the way you saw yours. And yes, someday you will be old and have grandchildren looking at you the same way. You're a very good grandson, Akamaru. I can see that you love your grandma very much. And I'm sure she must feel the same way about you. That's pretty sharp that she wakes right up like that if somebody is watching her. I think she must not be easy to fool or pull a joke on. And stop watching her when she's asleep and waking her up! She needs her rest.

Way over 100 years! My last grandmother to pass away was 98. A long time ago. I was kidding about watching her sleep. I know you wouldn't wake her up on purpose.

Wow your grandma should wait for 2 years to reach 100 years old but no one can predict when someone will die. I notice that most of the women have a longer life than men.

Deazil if your grandparents still alive i think their age is more than 100 years old now. I did not mean to watch him sleep I just saw him sleeping on the couch.

Many people sleep with their mouths open, I am sure if you waited longer you would have heard her snoring too.

I remember seeing my father sleep that way after work but before dinner, after a hard days work, and watching to see if a fly would ever make it onto the runway of his tounge.

I think your father is very tired. You should not let a fly going to his mouth or runaway of his tongue because it is not delicious if he accidentaly eat fly. Hehe.

The reason for your grandma to be sleeping that way is because the muscles controlling the jaw relaxes when we’re asleep. And so if you’re on your back, it’s more likely that your mouth will open. And it’s also has something to do with breathing – sometimes it can be easier to draw in air through your mouth that than through your nose, especially if your nose is blocked. So you’ll open your mouth to breathe instead.

Hey be nice to the elders! Of course we all look funny when we sleep. I snore like a train, so I'm guessing that a lot of people get a kick outta my sleeping! Then again, I suppose that it annoys a lot. How sad she has no teeth. I'm gettin on up there in years and am grateful I still have all my teeth.

Wow you are so observant. and fortunate. I never had grandma. They passed already, when both of my parents were young. Yes, that's true you should not laugh at her, because she is already old and sensitive. You would not like to hurt her feelings. and Yes, we will all get old eventually.

I also saw my grandparents sleeping that way. Yes, we should not laugh at them because one day we will also become old and our grandkids may see us sleeping the same way like our old folks do. Sometimes there's a whistling sound while their mouth is open

I wasn't able to spend time with my grandparents so I actually envy you. My grandparents are against my Mom's and Dad's relationship. We are leaving far away from them. I do have people who I treat as my grandparents and they sleep in a funny way. LOL. They still look cute though.

i think its natural to find that sight looks funny but we should enjoy it as a memory nit to make fun of grandma, because she is blessed to reach that age and when you get there you will also have grandkids who will think you talk funny,or walk funny or wonder why you cant hear what they say easily, they are all beautiful memories that are to be held dear.
