Parts of life are fate and part is self determination. For example, we can't control what parents we will be born to, which hometown we will live in, what time in history we will be born, etc., But within the options we are dealt, there is a lot of room to make choices for our life and what we want to do, be, earn, learn, etc. Whatever path we choose it is important to have goals and a plan to achieve them and we can establish our own destiny. Our past is already settled but our future hasn't been determined yet. That is largely up to us.

you just tried to create a philosophy here. is this based on your experience? you must have had great successes and failures in life. both the successes and failures apparently taught you valuable lessons that provided you meaningful insights you are sharing now. they are very much appreciated. thank you.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well luck is important in our lives but that does not mean we will always back on our luck that will take us further. in fact it is the mixture of luck and our hard work and dedication that will definite success in our lives. We have to maintain patience and keep ourselves calm while achieving our dreams so that the success will not be far away from us. What say?
