I like to change my wardrobe but I don't know when it can be. Almost all my clothes are already tight. I gained more weight every day. I thought I could lose weight but I became lazy to exercise and watch my diet. Now, I have 2 alternative plans, to change my wardrobe or to lose weight. I'm thinking as to which I would choose.

You don`t say in your profile how old are you. If you are young, it is eassy to lose weight. Your hormones help you and your life is more active than an older person`s. I would decide depending on my age and life style. THere is no need to do weight lifting or eat just lettuce. You can do it little by little and skip a couple of foods that make you gain weight.

I know by first hand what you mean. It`s my case. I buy a couple of new, nice clothes, but keep the old ones. I will not lose the hope of getting slimmer. Next year, I will go to a doctor specialist in nutrition. He will tell me whether I will only have to eat lettuce for some time. I`ll do it, if need be. I don`t like my belly.

I had been to a nutritionist and I was advised to eat less carbohydrates. The recommended snacks are fruits and some raw vegetables. She required me to list all that I ate for the day but I was not able to continue with that because the next time that I went to her office, she was absent when in fact I had an appointment with her on that day. I was frustrated considering that I have to go to her office via 2 rides.

hmmm...depends on your budget.. if you have a good budget and you have the money to buy new wardrobe why not.. change them.. and Christmas and New Years are coming so definitely there will be lots of parties to attend to.. and feast.. feast.. and feast...... losing weight takes forever, hahaha.. then lose weight after the parties and celebrations.

I think it will be better and healthier for you to lose weight. But if you only gain a little weight, don't push yourself. Buy a new wardrobe. We all deserve new clothes sometime and do what makes us confident.

i know that feeling, its so annoying, especially if you need to go somewhere and the clothes you want to put on are all tight somewhere due to weight.the choice is in your hands depending on how determined you are to shed the excess weight.but if the cash is available why not buy a few new clothes.

I had the opposite as I lost weight. I exercised, even for 5-10 minutes a day and really was careful to eat healthy food. Well, except for these past few weeks over the holidays. Today, I am back on my diet and even, this morning took time to exercise.
As soon as I lost a dress size, I got rid of all my larger size clothes. I didn't want it in my head that I readily have clothes I could fit back into when or if I gain weight. It's been a year and except for a few pounds over the holidays, I have not gained back the weight. I don't want to go back to one or two dress sizes bigger. No way!!!
Lose the weight - you will feel so much better. Change your eating lifestyle, don't consider it a diet. Also, exercise as part of your lifestyle. Then it is more enjoyable.

Well, I would say it depends on a lot of things. First of all, how much weight you gained. Is it a lot? So it could be dangerous for your health or something? Then I would definitely choose the healthy option which would be to lose weight.
Also, does it bother you that you gained weight? If it does, it might be better to lose the weight, in order to feel better about yourself. But if none of these apply, I would say both options are ok :)

Changing your wardrobe is just accepting the things you want to change in your life. Five years ago I was at my largest 180 pds, I had no energy my skin was horrible and my back hurt. I decide to stop letting my body control me, it wasn't about reaching any goal I just wanted to feel better. I exercise every opportunity I got to busy to think about food or problems I took back my life. After six months I lost 50 pounds, I felt in control and could play with my kids again and be a better wife to my husband by making better choices I was able to. Remember you don't get fat from eating you are eating cause you are getting fat. Stop, do not over think just do it no more excuses. Eating habits will have to change but after two days your body will adjust, start with small steps and increase everyday bit by bit. When you feel better about you body and yourself you can go shopping and enjoy your better self.
