You initiate a discussion here that draws some 30 plus or nearly 50 responses. Now you have got to add comments to all these responses besides commenting back on the comments to your other responses and responding to some discussions initiated by others. And you have to do all this within the limited time that you get after doing all your offline activities. How would you manage to do all this? How to be a responsible and smart mylotter?

The thing you are referring or talking about its called multitaaking and yes it is a skill and few people are blessed with this skill.and some people need to learn it. i have been using Mylot from many years and yes it is hard to comment on each and every comment discussion and responaes and we can not regularly use most of the features of of Mylot like uploading images doing tasks etc. if you want to comment and response to each and every discussion you start or responde then you can do it by notification on. you will get notifocatoon about the comment aand response you get on your comment or discussoon in your email . some of our Mylotters do ot to comment on eacj and every discussions. as we useore than one side it is qiite hard and we cant be online for 24 hours. discussion get timeline or more reaponses and commennt when mylotters would be online at same time and keep ckeecking the.discussion.

I agree with you,GajaGamini. But multitasking is something I am not used to now.My son repeatedly asks me to practice the skill, but it diverts my attention.I can't concentrate on the work that I am doing at the moment.I hope respondents to my discussion understand my problem. It is their problem as well.

consider the fact that each respondent exerted an effort to participate to your discussion so each of them worth of your comment. But for thirties or fifties replies then it will take time to answer them all.

Hi zearah, respondents have taken pain to respond to your discussion and their labor deserves honor. But you can't give them their due in the limited time that you get in a day to be on Mylot. You have to take your time.Your respondents know your limitations.

hi else I find that if I do not make a discussion every day then I c an more easily comment back on responses and while i h ave lots of time I know others do not so I suggest you do what you can in the time you have then come back another d ay or two or three days until you have it all caught up.Nobody is going to fault you for taking a few days to catch up.Even I who am on here all the time often have to break up making comments back into several days or more time as I have other things to do at times too.

I have started discussions in here, and I really don't get all that many responses to them, so it is every easy to comment back to all the responses I receive. After starting any discussion, I will check my email to see if I have any responses, so that I can go back and comment right away, except for in the middle of the night of course. I am not doing anything else now anyway, so should I ever get a lot of responses, I am able to comment back to them as soon as possible. you are right I have responded to discussions where the one who started them, never would comment back. I just don't know why they bother in the first place, if they aren't going to take the time to comment back to the responses they receive. That is only common courtesy. I do enjoy being in here, so I will always comment back and then I will comment again to another comment. Take care, and happy mylotting.

But I am afraid, rosekiss, that you can't comment back on all of nearly 50 responses to your discussion in a day.You can comment back only on 5,7 or at best 10 of them and leave the rest to be commented back the next day.In any case you would have to take time.I agree with you that the labor the respondents have put in responding to your post should be honored.

Hi friend, it is really hard to give comments to all the replies, so i will take some time to comment over all the replies in my topic and place my replies to the good topics created by my friends.

That's what I think, vidhya.Commenting back on so many comments and then responding to some discussions and then commenting on other comments in a day is very difficult. You have to take time.

I usually respond thru my email notifications. I will open around 4 mylot notifications and delete from my email. then comment or respond.. then close... then open again the email notification, the comment and respond.. then close.. until all the notifications from my email are all deleted. then I was able to comment and respond to all those notifications. I don't post comment in all discussions though but I respond to all responses. as I always value the other users' point of views or responses. It is my respect to them and not answering or responding back at them would appear that I have ignored them... (It is like having a conversation with a person.. and not answering them will look like I have turned my back at them) that is if I get the email notification, sometimes I don't get notifications from responses. If I still have time, I go to my interests tab and choose the discussions I have missed answering. I don't have much discussion too so I can have time to go back from my discussions from time to time I hope you get something from me. YES HONOR, RESPECT and VALUE the effort and time of the people who commented and responded to your discussion or comments. by responding to them too.

Personally that is the thing that really is puzzling. How r we supposed to keep up with the discussions we are starting here let alone the ones our friends are starting. I know for me, it really does depend on the amount of free time I can find as it varies each day for sure.

I'd like to mention that since there's no time limit to comment on the responses from other members, I think we can all take our time to reply these posts. Like me, I have my own life and "chores", so you would not expect me to comment back within a short time. To me, it is simply not right especially when I do injustice to the person who responds. On the other hand, I'd like to complete what I started and do it well at the same time. You may want to disagree here but I'd like to be firm on this one.

i think mylot is kind of time consuming, its not easy to keep up with everything, may be answering the most interesting ones, that's what i do.

There is no time limit on answering the comments we got from other lotters. You can give a reply as much as you can and then do some errands in between. By the time you come back again and there’s still more, start answering some of those comments again. Most mylotters will understand if they receive late responses especially when the comment they posted is on the last part. It sometimes takes time for the discussion starter to reply on each comment. But just make sure to accommodate each one so as we won’t feel ignored.

I spend most of my time replying to a responses of people under my own discussion. I prefer it because I know mostly about the topic since I started it myself so unlike finding a new topic reading it and thinking about a response. When I'm done with that, i go through previous discussions I have joined to see if anyone commented back on my response then respond accordingly. I pretty much enjoy doing this especially when I find the discussion very interesting where I have a lot of information to share and feelings to share. That's how I basically earn here. I also try out the tasks, but often they pay so low so I don't bother. hehe The number of responses I don't really want them to be too many. I just want a reasonable amount of informative responses reply to them and so on because I learn so many things this way.

Hi else, it's really hard to earn money easily here in mylot, yet I enjoy what I'm doing for I learn a lot of lesson. I really wanted to cash out for a month, I mean have a cash out for every month but I think it's impossible. If I'm going to respond at least 10 discussions a day is it possible for me to earn 10 dollars in a month? but I guess I've tried it, for only couple of days, yet my earning is not so big. :(

I had these discussions with 40 replies and I found commenting more enjoyable than responding and starting discussions Now I don't know if that's smart coz it takes a lot of time and you don't really earn from commenting but I just enjoy it, it's like talking to other people here
