I think it's between a bacon or anything frying loudly in a pan, and the sound of a wine cork popping. There's just a sense of satisfaction upon hearing these things for me. Some people are satisfied with hearing a ceiling fan breezing away or the sounds of keyboard typing.
Me? I just love the sound of crispy bacon on a hot pan. It's one of the best sounds ever. :)

The sounds I enjoy the most would be the birds chirping on a spring morning and the patter of a gentle rain.

For me it is the 'ahh' after a well cooked meal.

The most satisfying sound that I've ever heard in my life is the first time that I heard each of my children crying after their birth. It is the moment where a woman goes from being a woman to a mother that is the most fulfilling thing that ever happened in my life. Therefore, hearing that little whimper for the first time is one of the most vivid sound memories that I have ever had. Although it really doesn't compare, the second most satisfying sound that I've heard is hearing my children tell me that they love me.

The sound of burning wood in the fireplace, the sound of summer rain and birds in the spring.Less romantic, but very satisfying - food sizzling in frying pan, especially when you're hungry.I like to hear the fizz of champagne on special occasions.I keep the glass next to my ear and listen to it.:)

Sorry, a little mistake.
Funny comment by the way, who doesn't like that sound of freedom and power?;)

I like the sound of the children laughing. I am always fascinated on how little things make them so happy. I laugh with them every time I hear them laughing. their innocence just tells me that, nothing is wrongly done in this world. their laughter means that there is nothing bad will happen today. I like to hear them laughing.
