Which is better for promoting your stuff?Facebook or twitter?

Like someone else mentioned, I think it depends a lot on who you have as friends and followers on these sites. I personally have more success with promoting my blogs and articles through Twitter. I have more followers on Twitter, and I try to follow people that can help me with promoting my works. It just depends though, but they both can be good sources to use.

Promoting your stuff on Facebook and Twitter depends upon how well connected you are in the company of your friends and relatives in sharing every bit of information. I have Facebook and Twitter accounts. Personally, I like to share it more on Facebook because I have a strong friend connection. Facebook has more number of users compared to Twitter and one can easily target the kind of information one requires from other people. Similarly, Twitter is also good to share information and get a good return on investment. But, it totally depends upon your personal choice and business service strengths.

I do have a facebook and twitter account. In my case, I find facebook better for the things I do since I have more friends there as compared to twitter. As to who is the best, I think it all depends on your account and your links. For some people who have plenty of followers, then twitter is great. This mostly applies to celebrities, news channels since someone is always following them.

Both sites have good traffic so its upone you what you want. Facebook is best for promoting your site and articles and Twitter is best for backlinks. If you have lots of friends on Facebook than you can promote your sales or your products here and you will see the result soon.

Yes, the more traffic you have the more likely you are to succeed. However, I think it depends on your network..i.e. if you are following a bunch of kids on Twitter don't expect too much traffic to your site because most people at those site are only there for one reason: to hang out, not to have somebody promoting websites. It really depends on how you want to promote it. I speak only for myself. Overall, organic traffic is better.
