The name of my dog is Chiwa. She is a six year old dog that is mixed breed of a German Shepherd and another breed which I do not know. This big dog usually sleeps on my bed and wake me up if my alarm clock is ringing. Whenever I call my dog, I use the word BABY. Like BABY COME HERE. Although she is aware that her name is Chiwa, she is responding when I call her BABY. What is the name of your dogs and how did you come up with that name?

What a sweet little dog! How darling he is. And so smart. He really doesn't look like a Bully, though. He looks more like a lover than a fighter. He must be a real treasure to be with. It's funny how he likes to hog the bed. Dogs like doing that.

Oh yes, Miss Deazil. he cried when I left the house. My sister said, he cried for a week.. specially during night they hear him howling... and looking at the door. And every time a tricycle (public transportation in the Philippines for short distances) stops in front of our gate, he will rush in the door, and eager and wanting to get out. They pity him during the first week, and he was always messy because his face was always wet. then I cried too, then to make me happy my sister will show him in the webcam when we chat.. then i will call his name, he will listen and find out where the voice was coming out...

Bully - This is my bully, he is a mongrel, a breed of maltese and poodle. He is a smart dog highly trainable. he poops and pees in the bathroom so there is no problem with him in the house. He doesn't need leash because he can walk with me and doesn't go wild when outside. he likes fields and runs like crazy on it but when called he returns immediately. I love this dog so much. He sleeps on my bed too. hahaha..

He is my alarm too in the morning as he sleeps on my bed, beside me, even if I provided space for him on my head and on my feet part. i will usually wake up in the middle of the night at the edge of my bed because he is occupying the entire space of my bed, and using my pillow too. LOL he is very loving... if he sees his carry bag, he knows that we will go for a ride or we will go to the park as he loves it so much. He is just like a kid, he takes the slippers once I remove them from my feet, he will sneak in and steal and run as fast as he can when I chase him

My dog's name is Cujo, but he came with the name. Cujo was the rabid St. Bernard in Stephen King's book. My Cujo is a little brown dog.

Your mother is correct. A dog who is exposed to the weather, will shed before the hot and the cold seasons.

Hi middle072! My dog also wait for me in our window. If our neighbor's dog sees me, it will bark as if sending signal or message to my dog. Then after a few seconds, my dog will appear on our windows already. I am really happy whenever our dog does that.

Hi ElicBxn! It seems like a cool name. My dog is also a brown dog and a big one. Although these past few months, her fur is shedding. Some say its normal but I am a bit worried. My mother always say that its normal as it happens twice or thrice a year. After the hair fall season, her fur will be glossy and super soft.

I call my little Annabelle Baby Doll all the time. I'm not sure why or when I started doing that, but she'll answer to that just like she answers to Annabelle. I do also called her Annabelly, just a cute tweak to her real name.

Hi AmbiePam! I also call Chiwa as Chiwa Cheewy, and she will respond to that name as well. She always wag her tail when she is being called as Baby. I think whatever name I call her, she will love it. But if I call her like other names, she is just looking at me wondering what I am saying but will not approach me.

hi chiwasaki, how are you? honestly, I have 5 dogs, and sometimes I mix their names haha believe me, sometimes that makes you feel crazy hah. the funniest thing could be that when I call one of them to come up to me, the others come next to the other, like I called them hah

Hi alilin28! That happens to me before haha. I have another dog before named Aki. When I call either Aki or Chiwa, I usually exchange their names. They are so crazy, when I call one, both of them will come to me. As if they are jealous of each other. That is why I just call them baby because they will both come to me anyway.

Well, I do not have any dogs. I do have a kitty that is my baby. His name is Tigger. I came up with his name because he was such a playful little kitty. He reminded me of Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. Still, I will call him Tig for short. I will call him my baby, but he says he is a big boy kitty. He does not like it if I treat him like a baby. He says he is quite independent. He will wake me up too especially if he is promised a reward like Turkey, canned cat food, or time outside on the patio for getting me up on time.

Hi aireanna18! I like cats too. I have ten cats before and when we moved to a different area, I left my cat's to our neighbors as they will take care of it. Cats are adorable and sweet animal. I think its a three generation cats, it started with one cat named Macmac, and then she has a lot of kittens afterwards. But Macmac bite my foot before because I accidentally stepped on her tail.

Wow, that is a lot of cats. Personally, I never could think of moving and leaving behind my cat. When I moved a couple years ago, Tigger moved too! The move was a little hard on him, but he quickly settled down into the new place. He soon began to start exploring every inch of the new apartment. After only a couple weeks, I came home and could not find Tigger. It took sometime until I realized that he had been exploring the apartment, and gotten himself stuck behind the washing machine. He had jumped down behind it, but he could not climb back up because the smooth metal of the machine provided nothing for his claws to grab a hold of resulting in him being unable to get out from behind the washer. I ended up having to move both washer and dryer to get him unstuck. Then, he just waltzed out from behind it like it was no big deal. Kitties have such marvelous personalities. They want to act as though they are independent, but in truth they truly do need us as much as we do them. Sorry to hear about your foot. I can understand how you could have accidentally stepped on the cats tail, I too have accidentally stepped or even once tripped over Tigger when he snuck up behind me without me know it. Tigger will playfully bite my hand when he wants to play, but he does not do it that hard. The only time that he has ever really scratched me that badly was once he was trying to fly over the couch. I guess he thought that he was super kitty. As he quickly lost altitude in panic he put out his claws to cling on to anything to keep him from falling. Well, those claws went right into my leg as I was sitting on the couch. That hurt a bit and drew blood, but I understood that it was an accident. The other time he had badly hurt his face in some bizare freak household accident, while I was out shopping. Once, I found him hours later in the house I was trying to check his injuries. First swipe, I ignored feeling that it was more important to check his injuries the second was a swipe with the paw that drew blood. Again, I understood he was badly hurt and scared so he lashed out. Thankfully, he ended up be okay after some expensive vet bills.

I am really not a dog lover. But when we have a dog, I treat it well. We are fortunate that our dog is really a good dog. He is a mongrel given by our neighbor. His built is just like that of a German Shepherd. I call my sons as "anak" sometimes (it means child in our dialect). So sometimes, I would accidentally call our dog "anak", too. He is kinda sweet actually.

Hi jenny1015! Chiwa is also a mongrel given by my cousin. But she is not an ordinary one as she is so big, as tall as a German Shepherd and as fat as big Labrador. My mother loves Chiwa too and consider her as part of the family. I guess we are not complete without her.

Kiss is the name of our dog. My sister gave it to her. My kitten, well, I gave her name 'Reyna' means queen because she is like a queen in our house. She sleeps all day after she ate. I like 'Reyna' because that also reminds me of 'Reno' from Final Fantasy VII Advent Children.

I had a dog, and someday he'll come back ,his name was Wolf, and I called him BABY too, isn't that funny? I came up with that name, because he liked to dance, seriously I had a wolfer system, and when the music was loud he would run around in "full circles" . He was a Border Collie and he slept on my bed all the time and I didn't need an alarm, because he would lick my cheeks in the morning to wake me up. He always reminded me of Lassie. I miss that dog.

Hi Arieles! I want to have a border collie too. They said that it is one of the most intelligent breed. My dog also wake me up every morning. If she hears the alarm clock, she will jump in my bed and wake me up. There are times that she sleeps at my bed too. But sometimes, she prefers to sleep under the bed and under the chair and under a table.
