Youless, sometimes it is depending on area. I found that using my desktop to go online seems much faster than using other medium. When i use my laptop or smartphone, the speed seems slightly slower. But funny, if i off my desktop and use laptop to go online, the speed seems very fast as well. So, i am not really sure what cause for the fast or slower of the internet connection speed. Maybe it is depending on how many people is using that internet connection at a given time. I think the more people using the connection, so the slower the speed will become. So can conclude, it is depending on area and how many people are using that connection on that time.

I cannot tell the difference, either. I always use my smart phone for the Internet either at home or in the office. If the wire connection is slow, so will be the wireless and vice versa. Have a good day, youless.

I personally don't use wireless I am worried about my internet being hacked into and it's more likely if you use wireless so I always use my ethernet cables. I tried wireless but it didn't make the connection any faster so I thought there was no point in having it on so I switched it off at the router, so no one can access my connection.

Yes, Wireless is a little slower than the wired connection because it depends on the signal strength and the quality of the signal.

When I use the software to test the net connection, the data tells me that the speed for wire connection is the same to that of wireless connection. But the feeling of using the two kinds of connection tells me that the wire connection is much faster than that of wireless.
Usually during the weekend, when the network is slow, I can watch online movie through wire connection, while it seems to be impossible to open a website by wireless connection.

Here in our country, it depends on your location and service provider.
I am using a canopy but we're using wi-fi at home since we have laptop and computers.
Also it is easier for our mobile phones to connect and use the internet.

With my connection at 8 mbps the speed is generally the same on single downloads but wire could be a little faster on multiple downloads sometimes!? It's very hard to tell.
Linux is definitely faster than Windows.
I would expect that wired connection becomes the winner at faster speeds (that I can't afford). Here, I'm talking about large downloads but if you are only browsing, you wont notice any difference at all.

My connection, wireless is definitely quicker for me. Although it can be slow sometimes when the internet is out or not very receptive, I am still pretty sure wireless is faster.

It really depends on the signal. However, I find the wireless connection faster than the other one. Sometimes, though it is faster than the wrieless. I think it really depends on the signaal or whatever. As long as I can do mylotting everyday it is fine with me whether wire or wireless. :-)
have a nice day!

It depends on what company you have. But i think satellite is faster I had AT&T then switch to Xfinity, that i really enjoyed. It's cable and it's faster than wireless. But it really depends on what company you have
