what should we do to those littering people?

There is one thing happened yesterday made me thinking,I was walking on a sidewalk,a mother with her kid were walking ahead,the kid was drinking a fruit juice,when he finished it,he throw the box to the road side.
A teenage girl rushed up,picked up the box,and threw it into dustbin,and was shouting to them,"who's the no quality person?",the mother said nothing,just kept walking.
Alas,maybe it's the best way to do to those people.

First ,I'd like t praise the girl,she set an example for us.Her directly point the problem in front of a mother and her child is not proper,in case they will have arguement with her.
If i were she,I will throw the garbage into dustbin too,without comment.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Yes u are absolutely right such careless people should be confronted directly. People who do not care about the cleanliness of their surroundings will always continue to liter and throw wastes and garbage on the streets. They do not understand that it is important to maintain cleanliness around them otherwise they would be victim of many ailments easily. I am proud of that girl who took the initiative and confronted the child and his mother.
