Good or bad internet for children.

Everything has 2 sides. Internet helps us understand what happened over the world instantly. It also helps us collect information which we need for reports. Of course, online games or FB really waste lots of time. So make good use of it and limit the time you spend on it is important.

To control any bad effect from internet, we can use some kind of add on to our browser. Beside, we can use some kind of software too. Furthermore, we can teach them to optimize the positive effects of internet.. Of course, it's depended from their interest.

This is not bad if their parent know to control their children but most parent right know not care what their children do with internet. That why a lot of bad things happen right now. They should watch what their children do with internet to avoid their children from abusing the internet.

it is the responsibility of the parents to watch their kids on what are they doing online.. so that they can monitor the activities of their kids.. but i think there are software's that can be downloaded to prohibit the sites that you dont want your kids to see.. but still you should keep and eye to it because now a days media is a big part of growing kid.. they are a big influence so it should be monitored by parents..

Yes, i agree what u say. Parents should control their children.and make sure the websites their children surf are safe. Some websites are very useful. Example MYLOT, learn things and earn money at the same time.why not? =)

Internet is good, you just have to keep an eye on your children. if your child begin addicted to bad things you have to deal them with kindness.

We can't say that internet is bad for children and we can't also say that good for them. I think this is depend on the parents to strict their children and control using the internet. If we have computer at home it must be place in living room to control and see what they are doing online. If they access the internet inside their room. They might be access website which restricted for adults only any website that is influence their growth. Like, those kind of violence being uploaded in youtube...

Hello I guess most of the things having positive and negative part of it. So yes Internet is also having its negative side that way. But what I think is it can be really big learning tool for kids also. They can learn many things using internet that they can't learn from other sources. The thing is that parent should keep eye on their children and also should give all necessary guidance related to it.

If it is used in a wrong way, definitely it would be very bad for the children. If they become addicted to online games, therefore they could not function well in school. The best thing to do is to limit their internet usage. There should be a time schedule of when to surf the internet, of when to study lesson, etc. Additionally, children should not be exposed with bad stuffs in the internet. Somehow, the parents should always be there for them for proper or right guidance.

While the internet is no doubt a good medium of communication and information, there is some measures that a parent must to consider before they let their children engage in the activities over the internet. A common addiction on children over the internet is game usage, without a parent’s rule over their kids using the computer for gaming satisfaction, kids will likely to become addicted to internet games resulting to a bad effect most especially, their lack of social interests and poor health. Another fact over the cons of internet usage amongst children is that they brought up violence; some might also view internet pages that aren’t for children views and worse, might lead them to be cyber bullies.

You know, whatever it is that may happen to a child, it is always the caregiver or the guardian who is held responsible for it. So if a parent lets his children use the internet, he has to make sure first that unnecessary, harmful and explicit material are never accessible. Websites with those contents should never be allowed. You can set parental controls on your pc. It lets you filter websites and their contents as well so as to protect your child from getting exposed to it.

Internet has a both good and bad effects. If children are noticed properly by their parents, they may destroy their future without any reason. There are many vulgar sites which a small children may enter and get addicted to it very fast. but on the other side, internet gives us a lot of information by staying in home. It is both a curse and boon for the mankind.

Everything is actually available in the net. I have a 10 year old child who opted to check the internet for her assignments. But obviously there are websites that are obscene or vulgar for their minds. Being parent on this modern world we need to be in control in everything that our kids do. There are computer programs that prohibits access to those "not so good" websites that we can install if we can't check them all the time with their computer works. At the end of it, internet can be good to children if there is a proper guidance from responsible parents.
