I definitely need my Holidays to be More... MUCH MORE Enjoyable and Entertaining

Secondly, topic is not an adherence for you to reply to your friend's discussions. You can always drop by to say hi. And I do interact and reply back to whatever comments I get. Dear Sidhu, I have already responded to one person here, it is the off season in mylot. Haven't you aware about it. Participants are busy and away for celebrating Christmas and New Year. If you want to go then permission granted. We people are around but that also for limited period. The power shortage in day time, making me inactive in mylot. I am already freezing, though the temperature is not down that much (thanks to my great health). Then what is your plan on holidays without mylot? Take care of your health.

merry christmas the sids It gets me when I respond and respond and never see a comment one on my responses. Did the person dislike my response or just does not comment on anyone's responses and if so why? I bust my butt commenting back on responses on my own discussions. I feel a need to give input and further my own discussion too. I hope my discussions are not stale as they just come from my own life mostly here in 'Gold crest.I usu ally stick to my friends ]first then to top; and hot then just browse or comment back on any responses I may have missed.I am happy now because my son told me last night that his boss told him that the last 800 dollars he owed his oboss for a loan he obtained a e written off as a christmas bonus. Wow I told him thats really wonderful.I had helped him several times so now we both are better off financially.

Hi sid- yes you said it, the discussions have become dull and stale. Unless some thing is done to bring some life back to them, you'll find only cent chasers or your true friends. I completely understand you on number 1. almost every person i know is going away for the holidays and im stuck here at my house going nowhere. but i guess for me, a little eggnog will help with that problem. :) happy hoildays

I've not been able to get on myLot much recently as we've not had the power for it, and I'm so frustrated by all those great discussions in my inbox which I have not time to look at!

Heyya thesids! I know there has been a lack of activity here for sure. Being without notifications has been a great challenge for me on top of the time constraints I have been facing here. I have went back to quite a few discussions with no responses back to me. It is a shame because it could be such a great discussion. I do have 4 days coming up off with zero engagements and/or responsibilities I might be keeping everyone on their toes for a few days.

Allow me to say this and that is sticking to 'friends' activity will take you nowhere. There are so many interesting topics posted by others. Sometimes 'friends' do not get back to commenting on your responses, nor would they participate in a discussion initiated by you. Just go to the drop down menu of 'discussions' and there you will find a flood of topics that you could pick from. You will also find topics under 'interests'. The home page has so much to choose from.

Hello thesids, It is a good sum up, and I made the same observations. I really miss the interaction and the fun with my friends since a few months, and I am also guilty, as I don't log here every day anymore. Maybe it is me, but it looks like something is broken. I would like to see again the general atmosphere that was here 2 or 3 years ago when myLot was my favorite community and I was enjoying several discussions daily. I stop : my nostalgia for old times is probably a sign that the third age is coming... Happy holidays !

Hi buddy! Good to be here again after 3 months,I think,oh my! I do agree with you that some of our dear friends are already missing here and I wish for them to visit us again. I really miss HWG. Good thing bharatsharma is already a friend on fb,we chat from time to time. My reason for not being here is not mainly because I find mylot boring due to some discussions. It's just that I became busy at home and I can't stay too long in front of my laptop because of my migraine. I suggest you should post more discussions so that there will be more interactions from our circle of friends,I wonder where is jazel,dear jaiho and bhabycatch now?

Be joyful. That's the only thing I can think of (to make it better for you). I mean, I'm sure you know how to enter a discussion and respond in such a way as to DEMAND a reply from the starter (at least) ... try to have an opinion that differs from the one they seem to be spouting, and try to convince them to admit that your side is the right one?

Hi Sid I always wished there are two Sundays in a week! i too love more holidays but love to be in Mylot everyday. This friend is still in mylot but yes, i do find some are really busy but even i didn't start a discussion for a while now. I differ on point 2. There are few good discussions but few feel that starting N number of discussions and not responding to the response is growing fast - this i noted for sometime now. I think many of you had good times earlier (prior to my poping up here) and i am sure some members would make a come back. I too find the 4 true as I have experienced it. Again that make me more confused whether to respond or not. I do wish you a happy and enjoyable holidays - in and out of mylot. take care.

Hi there godson I agree with you on number 2. And that is sometimes the reason why I wasn't staying that long here. Although I see to it that I am here everyday for a chance to cross on something that may interest me or a discussion that I can have inputs too. I don't know how many discussions I participated so far, but I am sure it is very few, judging from my earnings it is clear that my participation is not satisfactory. 6 more days and it's Christmas, I hope I can get a leave from work... im sorry that things are slow for you on here. i have not been on much due to trouble with my hand. i am typing left handed but its awkward,slow and frustrating. also been busy prepping for the holidays. hope it gets better for you.

WE all have less time for mylot now that Christmas is getting near, friend. I was going to post two days ago about my brother inviting me to see a big choir where he sings. He is a scientist, but He sings because he likes it and has a beautiful voice. Then other thinghs happened that I could also tell you about. But I have to prepare myself to recieve today my grandson. He is coming to paint Christmas cookies here. My house will become a mess, I will not have time to psot and we will both have a lovely time. I could go on. I don`t like to make discussions that I don`t find interesitng. Yet, to make an interesting discusion, I have to take my time. Merry Christmas and let`s hope Santa will bring us good posting ideas.

Hi Sids, Here I am. I am back after a long gap hope you have not forgotten me. That's true its been long time when I had fun on the discussions I used to have in the past as many of my friends are not active these days. But I am happy to see back hope we can have fun here.

Hmmm since I am just a month here I can not compare the previous from today, but I noticed that some authors are so lazy to make their discussions alive. but I am thankful for them because I earn from commenting.
