My dad's eye appt was supposed to be the day after last Thanksgiving but they cancelled on that day. Then gave him an appt for Christmas Eve which I thought was ridiculous too. Today they finally called to reschedule it to the day after Christmas which I guess is better. I wonder why they didn't catch the date in the first place, sheesh. I even made a separate other discussion for that. Have you ever had a DR appt scheduled for so close to a holiday?

Nope, never had an appt scheduled so close to a holiday. :O
By the way, my mum just had an eye operation, a cornea operation. So now she can't be exposed to bright light and stuff... Because if her eye is harmed it's a possibility that she'll go blind. I guess in a way your dad should be glad his eye appt is after Christmas? That way he can fully enjoy Christmas (unless he's supposed to abstain from food by some time on Christmas) without being bothered by stuff like what my mum has to go through.

As far as I know it is just a routine check up. I'm sorry to hear about your mom and her inability to be exposed to bright light now after the cornea operation. I guess the odds were better though to have it than not have it? I'm not sure of that. But he shouldn't have any problems after this eye appt. He will be going to get some kind of ear thing done in February which I really hope helps his hearing as we are going insane with him not being able to hear things you tell him after 3-4+ times.

My iron infusion was December 20th, which wasn't bad. But nothing a few days off from a holidays. Something like an eye appointment isn't real important. I could reschedule it for another day, even today on Boxing Day I wouldn't be going out to appointments with the crazies out trying to get all those deals.
