I was reading an article about a woman that decided to write a wonderful diary of memories and love to each of her children. She would write a page a day and when it was done she gave it to them.
I decided to do this for my own children and I have to say it is one of the best and most fulfilling things I have ever written! To share memories and let them know daily of my love for them in words they can read long after Im gone from this world is an amazing thing.
I've expanded mine to feature photos and other things that remind me of them and our adventures together. Like her kids, I know mine will cherish these books for a very long time.

I made a scrapbook for my two daughters. I put it all together over a period of time and gave it to them when the were in their late 20's early 30's. I also made room for them to continue with their memories. I had so much fun making them. Brought me back great memories. I think I'm going to tell my daughters about writing a diary for their kids. I think its a great idea. In fact, I think I might do one for both of my kids so that they can read it once I'm gone.

I'm not doing this exact thing for my children, but I am doing something similar for them. I'm keeping life scrapbooks for each of my two children. I will give these to them in hard form when they graduate from high school because that will be a major milestone in their lives.
I know that it is a very fulfilling project for me to create and I also know that the work that I've put into them will be something that my children will treasure for years to come.
