I am just wondering if you guys believe in a delayed success? I am now 26 and still starting to have a more successful life. I haven't graduated on time and and haven't earned for a living for almost 5 years. I wasted my 5 years on enjoying, relaxing and doing nothing. I just started a small business and arranged things into places. I am now starting to pick up the pieces that I have scattered all those years. If this things would work could I call this one as my delayed success?

I is good to read your story. It seems that you have started some thing good. It is hard to start your own business but you have done it at the age of 26 only.
It is not a delayed success but it is early success. I think I will join the line behind you in the near future. I am also planning to do some business but I am not able to start and decide because I have limited resources to start anything yet.
Congrats to you.

That shows that your mom and dad love you so they care about your career. Good luck for your Nursing license exam.

Yes, I am lucky to have a very supportive mom and dad who's willing to give me some cash to use and start my own little business :) I am also planning to pay for my review for the Nursing licensure Exam while doing some business. I hope it would do great because it will help me a lot and of course I will not fail my parents' trust.

Thanks for making discussion .That is a new idea and word that I heard .. we have the same I wasted too many years o my life not preparing for my future and like you I just realize now that I have to focus and work hard and find where will i Succeed in online business, and of course I much careful now in looking since 99% here are scam site.Well My opinion. it's not a delayed but because Success comes from Failures. Many successful people have experienced failure and later become one of the famous.Remember Beatles when they are new they applied in a Decca recording studios,But they was neglected by that recording studios because they said their sounds are uninteresting, boring etc. etc. They have been criticized but you see they didn't give up that is what we called the another sayings of " Try and try until you succeed." Even Walt Disney too have been Fired out to a News paper where he worked at because they said he is unimaginative and having no ideas.Steve Jobs Have been removed in the company he started unceremoniously and it make him depressed and devastated at the age of 30.Oprah has been demoted Being an Anchor because they said She was not fit for television.Albert Einstein wasn't able to speak until he was 4 yrs old and his Teacher said "HE would never amount too much."you see it's nto a delayed but it's a challenge to most people so they become successful. From their failures they discover their hidden talents. So as you.

Thank you so much for that. I believe so, Even how late it is as long as I will do my best, I will succeed. Maybe the years that I wasted and my experience would make me strong enough for planning my future. :)

Some people are early starters, some people are late starters, success is there at any time of life, some people can be more fortunate than others and find success easy, whilst others can struggle for years to achieve it and even then it can evade their grasp. Some people are simply not ready for success. Don't see it as 5 wasted years, look upon it as a kind of 'sabbatical' we all need time to relax in our lives. I am sure you enjoyed relaxing and doing nothing! Besides 26 is still relatively young.

Maybe that's why some quotes says "do not compare your success to others"because we have our own time on being successful. Comparing yourself to others would just make you insecure and it will only stressed you out :) yes, I am still young, it's just that in the place where I lived it's a big deal when you are still unemployed while your college classmates are on to their own work. Friends and relatives are looking on up to you and it is just stressful haha, but now I don't care about what they say, all I wanted is to start my own business and hopefully it will go smooth so that I can provide my needs without asking for my parents. Maybe it is because we have different views on the word success :) for some people it would be to have a stable job, a great business and some bank accounts. For me it would be to have something that I thought I cannot have or I think I cannot overcome. Who would not want to have a stable job? I think all of us wants that :) Good day

Success could come at any point of your life. Some become successful at 70, others at 35, so why not? It doesn't need to happen at 21 or 25, so I think you're on the right track. Make up for all those fruitless years and surely, success will be smiling at you any moment now.

At age 26, you are fairly young to consider that you have not yet succceeded. I would advise that you dont look at success as having a fat bank account. There are many areas that your success so far can be rated on. In any case, those who are materially successful at your age may risk getting into many other trouble caused by the love of pleasure, which money can buy.

I don't know what area it is but I am just waiting for it, I don't mean that right now I already am. It is just that I have wasted some years of my life doing nothing and now I am starting pick up the pieces and try a new life, start to make something that would help me for my future. :)

Yes perhaps you could call it that way. Sometimes people realized late the value of working and earning a living. Most especially when someone else is supporting them, like our parents for instance. It does not matter when you have it or when you started working but what is important is that you are on the right track. Surely success comes to people who go for it . May you have more success in life.

Every opportunity has it's perfect timing. Perhaps your opportunity to become successful came late but I don't think that's delayed success. It's life's way of saying that this is the perfect time for you to be successful. Don't worry about that don't consider those 5 years as waste you know because those years are precious. You were able to enjoy life for 5 years brother and also realizing or visualizing things. So goodluck bro, don't look back it's you time to move forward go get it! Let's Go!

In my opinion, success is success. It doesn't matter when it happens. You won't find you have just one success in life. You'll have many different successes in many different areas. And you'll have many setbacks too. They go together. If you're happy with the way things are, you won't try to change things, so you won't try new things. A lot less chance of setbacks, but much harder to have significant successes too. When you try new things, sometimes you fail and have a setback. But sometimes you succeed and great things happen. Enjoy each success as they come. Accept them for what they are. Whether small or big. Now or tomorrow. I didn't start my full-time work until after I graduated college at age 27. I've had many wonderful things happen since.
Enjoy your new business! Good luck to you.
