First it was snow. The later in ther morning it became rain. It rained until night. Then it became all snow. We got a few inches where I live. Most people along Lake Michigan got little snow or all rain during the snow storm! It was weird! I stayed home all day and I went to work on friday. The roads weren't to bad thanks to the plowing. Now it is just cold and no more snow due for a while!

I have to drive in bad weather. When I worked I would be so nervous when there was snow on the ground because you never knew if there was black ice underneath or not. The Highway Dept. is really good about putting sand down on the well travelled areas so that helps for traction. I am still nervous. I hated it when my job site changed and instead of it being about 8 minutes away to it taking nearly 30 minutes to get to work and part of that was up hill. Hope you enjoyed your day off.

I did enjoy my day off. I spend alot of it here and on Facebook. Then Pinterest which I am really addicted to right now! Every year when we get snow or have icy roads I am very careful driving! I don't want to get in an accident or have someone get me involved in one due to their bad driving! I have done my share of slipping and sliding while driving! Luckily the roads were good and salted when I headed to work on friday.

Snowing, wow! I've never seen snow.
We are experiencing really high temperatures today. My friend has finally fixed my air conditioner so I'm somewhat cool but you can still feel that it's hot.
There was a black snake on my verandah just a while ago.

YOu were so lucky! We had the same storm and I prayed for another day off so I could get ready for Christmas.....but I had to work. It was so slow that it was hardly worth going in...but I did get paid anyway I guess that should be the bright spot!

I have had to drive in lousey weather during the winter! When I first started at the college,we had no snow days! Everyone had to come in no matter what! Then snow days policy kept changing until a few years ago! They went back and forth. We would not get paid on a snow day unless we came into work! Then they said if it was a snow day we would pay you anyway. Then it kept changing ever year until like 2 years ago! It was so stupid! Finally they came up with what we do now and hopefully that doesn't change! If I don't have to drive in the bad weather I am fine with that!

No it is not fun driving in blizzards! I have in the past and it wasn't fun at all! I always try to drive carefully when it is winter. I don't want to get into an accident! There are so many bad or stupid drivers out there, too! WE only got like 3 inches of snow. The snow turned into rain and it rained most of the day. It didn't snow until it got to be night. Other parts of the state got a ton of snow and some other places got mostly rain! It was a weird snow storm!

Normal day off for me today but we got plenty of snow here as well. Enjoyed a walk in it after I finished clearing up the driveway. Not too heavy work for me. The bulk of it was cleaned up yesterday during the day by my wife and the kids.

I enede up not having to do any shoveling on Thursday last week. We started with snow but it ended raining must of the day! At night it finally snowed and we got about 3 inches. On friday morning I have to shovel off my porch and my car. I then had to go to work and took it easy on the roads. The trucks had been plowing and spreading salt on the roads. Where I work they had like 6,maybe more, snow on the ground! It was a very crazy weather day!

We did have a white Christmas here. It had started to snow and we had wind and cold. It was not long after it started snowing it became all rain! I thought maybe having a snow was not the right idea! Well by night it started to snow and we got like 3 inches. Enough snow to shovel off my porch and car! At work they got more. Like 6 maybe more. More snow is on its way friday. Maybe two inches but you never know! The weather is so unprediculer!
